    Hello vixtress,

We're here just this thread seems less popular than others. I don't know why though as WW gives you total flexibility to choose what you want to eat IMHO.

Noreen, with you having the books, what is it you feel you are missing? Am sure I could work out how many points you can have for you if you want. And if you google 'how many propoints are in XXXX' you can usually find the answer easily (often from minimins site). You are right in saying the price has shot up... £6.25 weekly now! I have a monthly pass which is cheaper but still £21ish.

Just had my second weigh in and lost 1.5lb, total lost 4lb. Only, err, 66.5lb to go!!!!

  • Hi, I'm still here. Lost 30lb in total, but have had a lot of stress over the year, and have ended up abck to having only lost 10lb. Went back last week, and lost 4lb, so am now back to having lost a stone! Will try and remember to keep posting here
  • Hi, Please can I join you. I am very lacking in motivation at the moment. I lost 1st 5lbs with WW a year or so ago, gave up and put some back on, not all though. Then I had a go at SW, well if they say I can eat unlimited pasta and potatoes etc I will, so that doesnt work for me, so I have rejoined WW online again but its been 2 weeks and I just can't be bothered. Anyway, just come across this thread and I hope it will spur me on. At the moment I weigh 11 stone , thats the most I ever weighed during my 3 pregnancies and I don't want to be like this forever. Also my youngest daughter has just started school and all the mums seem so much younger than me, I don't want her to be ashamed of me in years to come. So once again I am starting this morning full of good intentions, lets hope they last this time. Thanks for reading this. Good luck to all.
  • Hi all I don't come on here much but want to make more of an effort as it does seem quiet. I've been doing Weight Watchers online since January and I am a total enthusiast, thought I'd share my experience of WW so far.

Weight Watchers is such a fantastic plan and it certainly does work:)

It's changed me completely. I've gone from being totally obsessed/addicted to food and 60lbs overweight, to losing 41lbs, walking/jogging regularly and having interests in other more constructive things - I still have 19lbs to go to get to a healthy weight, hoping to get there by January next year

For me it's the only way to lose weight: it's generous, sustainable and sensible, there is no deprivation just moderation.

Planning ahead is the key then you can plan in foods you fancy within your allowance and feel completely satisfied. This weekend I've had a bag of crisps, a Chinese and fair sized bar of chocolate and I'm still on plan:) Love it!

The weight loss is slightly slower than some plans but it's healthier and more likely to stay off if it's gradual (also helps your skin recover). It allows you to have treats so you are less likely to feel deprived and fall off the wagon, makes sticking to plan more sustainable.

Also IMHO it's a big help to realise that you need to be kind to yourself - don't let what's eating YOU make YOU eat! It is a journey with lots of ups and downs - do your best to be kind to yourself because no you probably won't be 100% all the time all the way to goal, things will happen and you will get fed up/fall off at times (I have 3 times for a week at a time... so far!), BUT you CAN get back up asap afterwards and do your best to rectify the damage before weigh in.

Good luck to everyone - it really does work! Can't praise it enough!:)

    Hi Ladies

I've just joined WW on line (too embarrassed to go to a meeting) and I'm struggling to understand the pro points system and even navigating around the site :o.

I was hoping that it would be nice and simple but................

Has anyone any hints and tips to get me started and/or can point me in the direction of an instruction manual for the web site that uses language a five year old can understand???

I've finally bitten the bullet as I need to lose a minimum of 6 stone:eek::eek::eek::eek: and I don't want to fall at the first hurdle.

    Many thanks

    bunnykins xx

  • Bunnykins, I would honestly say that I couldn't do it just online. I need the help of a meeting, and someone to ask questions to. I'm back in the swing of it now. Lost 3.5 lb this week!:j

Well I've only the weekend to get through now to complete my first week - I'm hoping it'll be easier than it was at work!!!:(

I tend not to eat as much at weekend although what I do eat is cr*p - so I'm figuring on exchanging the cr*p for more healthy options and I should be good to go.;)

When I hit the supermarket I'm going to buy loads of veg and make up some soup for next week. That should keep me going when the hunger pangs strike.:)

Now if I can just figure out the web site, I reckon I'll have cracked it.

** Mintymoneysaver - thanks for the advice - I can't afford weekly meetings too so will continue on line for the minute (but there may come a time.....) - well done on the weight loss:T
