If you just mow the fields every couple of weeks, does that not simply exhaust all the larger weeds?
Any ideahow long it takes to mow four and a half acres with a push mower?
Agricultural contractors rates for cutting with a tractor and topper would be 100 an acre. Gets pricey if you ate doing it fortnightnighly for weed control, and loss of you valuable grass crop....for sale or swaps!0 -

Has just never occured to me to do so. But i really fancy tandoori prawns. Io know they are expensive, and i know its incredibly indulgent to even consider them, let alone a takeway at all.......i have not decided i will, but i thought i would post it as i know at least pastures has bought takeaway for just her.
I've had takeaway by myself lots of times. If the kids had worn me out I used to stop off at the chippy on the way home from delivering them to LNE for the weekend.vivatifosi wrote: »I'm getting to the stage that I need to do something as my lawn is turning more into a dandelion allotment.
My lawn is still mostly grass, but desperately in need of mowing. We have a fine dandelion coming up between the paving slabs in a small paved area that we have behind the house.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

D charge cutting for hay. Same amount of land, same equipment, so thats what i am guessing. Last year we used pur neighbours tractor twice and then another neighbour did it for free because he wanted to use his new tractor. He is a partner at a law firm....not dh's but a well known one. Dh lunched out several times with colleagues on a partner at that firm being his 'lawn boy';):D0 -
Is any one able to help me?
I have been in dialogue with dulux over a paint issue, and they have suggested i look at three colours of paint on their trade website, but i can not work out how to find them. I have used the search thingy, but it doesn't work, and trying to flick through the colours on their on screen paint charts was hard too...they follow an order of the letters in the chart but not i think the numbers...
If anyone fancies helping me out the websit is dulux.trade-decoration.co.uk and the paints i am looking for are
