When did you all grow in to it or did you have it from young? I never started getting it till my late 20s and it has got worse every year since
Mid teens. Then it got worse each year, until :explosion smiley: it disappeared suddenly.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Scarlet pimpernel
Sow thistle
Mind your own business
Couch grass
Nettles
Brambles
Bindweed
Rose of sharon
Daisy
White clover
Dandelion
Buttercups
Fortunately I don't have ground elder or japanese knotweed, but I do have something that looks like japanese knotweed in its early stage but then doesn't grow, can't find that in any books.
At some point I will probably get someone in to nuke the lot as it is a losing battle with basic chemicals and hand gardening tools. Astroturf is looking increasingly appealing.
I have brambles, buttercups, daisys and dandelions, plus lots of stuff I can't identify.
Problem: We bought a cherry tree 4 years ago. It was doing well and has flowered last year. This year it was budding nicely and I looked at it today and half the branches have dried, brown, dead leaves, the other branches are doing well.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. snap...and hundreds of stones in the bit the builders disturbed even though I dug it over and removed hundreds more
I am thinking may be that part should be abandoned and we could have an indoor pool with lots of opening glass so it could be outdoor in the summer...now just a small matter of a lottery win and we will get started.I have brambles, buttercups, daisys and dandelions, plus lots of stuff I can't identify.I think....0 -
I have had hay fever a couple of times. First time when i was eighteen or nineteen. I think also mildly this spring.
I also have had odd food allergies. I have been to hospital twice or three times with swelling lups and tongue and throat in the middle a meal i have eaten before and since fine, using nothing else new and in home environment. I touch some fruits to my lips now to 'test the water'. Better than giving every thing up.
Weeds....i have loads and loads and loads. The things tha annoy me the most...ground elder, plum saplings......hundreds and hundreds of them they are weeds, the chances are the fruit would be abysmal, and elder trees. These grow out of my guttering, gaps in walls as well as round the place. I have a few very old elder trees which can stay....the others.....its war.0 -
brambles, dandelions, groundsel, bindweed, chickweed, lesser celandine, herb robert, rosebay willow-herb, green alkanet, nettles, and a few more i can't remember0

Friends of ours have just bought a holiday home...
converted barn....just off a dirt track....off a council estate!
Only 45 minute drive from home.....
Silly money. Comes with a tractor for mowing the lawn in the paddock and walled garden!
Not even detached as it is attached to another barn conversion.
Silly money, as in silly cheap or silly expensive?
Thanks very much for the link to the paint colour. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Oh buttercups, they are on my seek and destroy list too, in the fields. I don't mind them in the hedgerow...or even the garden.0

Too much money, much too much money. For a barn stuck on the edge of a council estate. Looks a beautiful barn though, the sort that would feature on some TV programme. Log burner in the middle of the lounge, galleried landing overlooking the lounge.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
