... oh and I've spotted a flat in Sandbanks I can afford (obviously on an adjusted budget from the original) ... but it'll probably either [a] be gone, or involve dealing with up-their-4rse-dimwit-agents (who scare me to be honest)... so it'll probably remain "a dream".0

I have realised today i have never to the best opf my memory had a takeaway by myself. I would happily eat in a restaurant my my self, nut takeaway? Has just never occured to me to do so. But i really fancy tandoori prawns. Io know they are expensive, and i know its incredibly indulgent to even consider them, let alone a takeway at all.......i have not decided i will, but i thought i would post it as i know at least pastures has bought takeaway for just her.
I could always make some dal of some sort instead....
You could ask people who have the Takeaway book by McGovern if it contains the prawns recipe... then you could make sure you had those ingredients in, ready for "next time".0 -

Maybe twice or three times a year.
I hoover the inside a bit more regularly though.0 -

Every year, when I have an MoT, the garage finishes off by spraying down the outside only with a waterjet, no soap, just water..... that's more than the last car got. Previous car I bought brand new and when I traded it in 9 years later I had NEVER washed itand it didn't look filthy/rough at ALL.
Gotta go now.... helpers imminent... and once they've rung the bell they get irritated if I don't leap to the door to open it.0 -

Every single item has to have a decision made - and each one is tough. Tough emotionally .... and tough when you're throwing out useless stuff just because it was theirs.
Tough, tough, tough.
Got help this week though... well, today, should have been here already but they called to say they're late as there was some "long story" to come as they've just visited the old .... by the time they arrive I'll just have time to outline my strategy, get it agreed.... then do some immediate legal paperwork before we're off to lunch and then as we're near the bank, we'll no doubt do some banking of some sort. Then it'll be 3pm before we get back and actually crack on with decisions .... which will result in a pile of "charity shop" stuff long after the shop's actually closed for the day.
Charity shop! It provides some relief from the guilt of throwing out good stuff. Plus they'll collect - well, round here they will.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Anyone else trying for Olympic tix today? We have been slaving over a hot ticket request engine and have managed to score one single basketball ticket for DH.
