Dont you have a silver car though?

I thought I always wanted a silver car, but white is the new silver.

When I bought my first new car, where I had choice of colour, I was going to go for silver, but OH had a silver car. Given us girls only know their cars by the colour, I changed my mind and went for a metallic pale blue (sounds yuk but it was the colour for the Honda Jazz that year) example here: http://imganuncios.mitula.net/honda_jazz_95324105013820258.jpg

So this time I was determined to get the silver. Even ordered it in silver, then everyone started telling me that white was the colour now. Then the dealer phoned me and said that they had a cancelled order for the one in white, which meant I could have it 3 months earlier and a bit of a discount, so I went for white. And got one of the first automatic Jukes on the road in the country. :)http://www.jukeownersclub.co.uk/forum/silverjukes-white-juke_topic630.html

The problem with white cars is they need more cleaning. I've also noticed that they are like a honeypot to the bees who are the cleaning people in the Sainsbury's car park. Park up for a quick shop and they swarm all over you. Drive up in a silver car and you just get one approaching.

The 7.5 tonne truck bit would help, too. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I've never heard of that. They don't exist where I live. You should move here, where nothing goes on and nothing's available.

Sorting out olds' stuff today ... again. It's tough to move from standing and staring at stuff and believing you know what you'll do with it .... to actually shifting it. Every single item has to have a decision made - and each one is tough. Tough emotionally .... and tough when you're throwing out useless stuff just because it was theirs.

    Tough, tough, tough.

Got help this week though... well, today, should have been here already but they called to say they're late as there was some "long story" to come as they've just visited the old .... by the time they arrive I'll just have time to outline my strategy, get it agreed.... then do some immediate legal paperwork before we're off to lunch and then as we're near the bank, we'll no doubt do some banking of some sort. Then it'll be 3pm before we get back and actually crack on with decisions .... which will result in a pile of "charity shop" stuff long after the shop's actually closed for the day.

I really miss having a lorry a lot. Times like today when a horse looks dodgy i panic about the extra time to get them to a vet hospital. Not really an issue with old horse, she is too old for an op.

I have realised today i have never to the best opf my memory had a takeaway by myself. I would happily eat in a restaurant my my self, but takeaway? Has just never occured to me to do so. But i really fancy tandoori prawns. Io know they are expensive, and i know its incredibly indulgent to even consider them, let alone a takeway at all.......i have not decided i will, but i thought i would post it as i know at least pastures has bought takeaway for just her.

I could always make some dal of some sort instead....
