The whole Mayan thing.... pants. Seriously ... a man is sitting and writing out a calendar.... there HAS to be one day when he either says "enough - let somebody in the future write the next bit, I'm bored of this".... or he just dies.0

I've not actually ever been to a theatre - nor have I met, in real life, anybody else who has actually been to a theatre.
And .... I've actually rarely dated either, so I wouldn't book anything as I'd not believe they were actually turning up, to be honest. I'd assume it was a bet or a dare.
Ah, I can do my posh thing now!
Been to London theatres 3 times (I think..hang on, Phantom, Starlight and Buddy)...yep 3 times.
And been to and performed in our local theatre (which is actually quite large for the size of the town) far too many times to remember.
I have dated, obviously the majority before now ex hubby but mine tended to be meals out in posh restaurants. Only dated once since the divorce with a bloke 10 years older than me....big mistake, he tried to treat me like the little woman at home and after escaping being ground down for years by now ex hubby, I was not going back to that position anytime soon!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Spot on! Met at uni. Divorced by the time she was 23.
I honestly thought you was around my age....which you can't be if you have been married 35 years (you would have had to have been 7 when you got married!)We made it! zagubov, how is your DD? My pains turned out not to be adhesions, hence this op

I couldn't get it to add up myself, GDB, - I thought you were my age (and I'm older than Sue I reckon) and your kids weren't much older than mine. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
'Astronomical records were key to the Mayan calendar, which has gotten some attention recently because of doomsday warnings that it predicts the end of the world this December.'
I'm going with the strategy of keeping in with a few guys who own guns, land and edible creatures. I have the polytunnel and they'll need salads.
a) Exactly why I made every effort to enjoy last Christmas.
b) Am thinking this is a very wise strategy. Can you let me know if you have some spare going free?0 -

But what good is that? A transitory satisfaction and then a great big fall into reality. Better to have gone through that door already and worked out what life is really about? (Shruggy shoulders)0
