Can you find people willing to nick children? Mine have had conjunctivitis plus night time cough this week, tiring is not the word. For some reason it has always been my job to deal with kids in the nightDoozergirl wrote: »The same could said about children, GBD. We're currently helping with seven week's worth of DS's history homework that is due in tomorrow morning, just before he sits level 6 SATs mock. He's tried his best to avoid it, and I'm not best pleased that avoiding it still constituted about nine hours work when the allocated time for history homework is 30 mins per week = 3.5 hours. We're halfway through so, er, it's clearly not going to happen.
A usual nights homework for this one subject usually takes over an hour and he'll get something like "this is a good start" I couldn't do it in 30 minutes either, especially if she thinks what is produced constitutes a start, poor kid. I'm the sort of person that would have stuck two fingers up at a teacher with expectations like thatIt's hard not to pass that on to him
I have expectations too, but it's a subject that I could see him enjoying if it weren't so blo0dy hard.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Forgive me for interfering in something I don't understand, but why do you have all this livestock? It seems to tire you out and stress you. Could you not cut back a bit?
Its not meant to tire me out and stress me!
It is atm though. Its also making a small profit though, so all to the good atm. Problems this week have been theft, and weather....so they cannot help it. The ones that don't make any money at all are my 'babies'. Other peoples kids are stressful, yet they do keep having them. E.g. Could no sooner sell special girl than i could dh.0 -
Oopps, you all kept talking while i as reading and typing, lol. Poor gdb getting put right on my babies twice.
.
Michaels, i'll nick a little one, but he doesn't cope without heating, does he? Poor little critter.0 -

Been a bloody night mare of a week tbh. This weeks egg money, such as it is, up the spout, and the weather creating various difficulties.
We have lost a small length of guttering on a barn, the back garden fence and trying to make a decision about selling grass or making hay this year.......0 -
