Oops, in the time I took to type that and work some other stuff out you've had a bunch of other replies. I am s-l-o-w tonight. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

edit: I thought it might quote, but it doesn't, so it's pointless.
The other one takes you directly to the quick reply box at the bottom of the page.
I guess if you want to do a quick reply to a post at the top of the page when there is a lot of posts already on that page it may save you a bit of time scrolling.0 -
Horses et al all behaved tonight, first time this week i think, so though i would have an easy night at last, ut now the dogs are gong crazy because there are hedgehogs out and the dogs, and cats, seem to adore hedgehogs. Go figure!0

A 4 bed, 1 bathroom, extended and done up ex-council (but doesn't look it), set back from the main road was repossessed 2 weeks ago. Had an asking price offer already. £484k!!!
That's nearly half a million quid!
It's never made sense...0 -

How much was it on the market for before it was repo'd?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I entirely agree with you that it never made sense to sell off council housing. It was a Conservative electioneering stunt. But I had better not go on too much about this, as some people may be offended.
I do not think that this house will in fact be rented out, at least not to housing benefit claimants. The local reference rent (on which housing benefit is based) for four-bedroom houses in Outer North London is £282.69 per week. That would provide an absolutely miniscule yield of just 3%. So, this will not be a sensible letting proposition.
There's no reason why an ex-LA property in a good area should not make a very nice home for somebody with £500k to spend. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Is this No. 92? Bought in 2007 for £385,000, so it's slightly surprising that they have been repo'd with the value having gone up by £100k, since they bought it. Perhaps they MEW'd?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
