Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

Quick - if you're bored. New programme (new to me).
Channel 4+1, Freeview 13: Get your house in order.
They go to cluttered houses - clear them of junk, flog off the stuff and spend the money to revamp the house.
This one's an oddball recluse type of single bloke.
House is SO cluttered he can hardly move round the house!0 -
A 4 bed, 1 bathroom, extended and done up ex-council (but doesn't look it), set back from the main road was repossessed 2 weeks ago. Had an asking price offer already. £484k!!!

I don't really like pasties. Not a big fan of pastry unless it's sweet
It think it takes up too much space in my tummy when it could be filled with more interesting things.

The speech bubbles are multiquote. The other one I just pressed and it took me to the reply box at the bottom.
edit: I thought it might quote, but it doesn't, so it's pointless.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The speech bubbles are for multi-quote replies. You click the "multi-quote button on all the posts you want to quote on then use the normal quote button on the last post you want to quote on.
You can only quote on 4 or so posts in one reply though.
No idea about the other one and never noticed it before.
Lydia will know coz she's a smart cookie :A0 -
Oh yeah i just tried that.
Multi quote, eh? Thanks doozergirl!
Edit, and ssssss0 -
The speech bubbles allow you to do multiple quotes. Say for example Pastures said something about beaches, which you then wanted to quote in the same post as something that Lydia had also said, and michaels had also chimed in on, you'd click the speech bubble on the first, speech bubble on the second, then quote on the third.
The pencil is a bit superfluous as you're at the bottom of the page anyway and I can click on post reply or just start typing in the quick reply box, but if you read something, felt inspired to write but didn't want to quote and weren't at the bottom of the page and surrounded by posting options, you could arguably click on the pencil and get there quicker. But its only about a nano second quicker. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
