It's 10 foot wide across that wall (worktop + wall space + French windows width + wall + worktop on the other side.
That's HUGE.... and god knows how long it is.
And you do know that she's on the telly so it's not real don't you
And this picture is either the other end of her kitchen, or a separate utility

Also - when I buy a house I'll use the kitchen that's there.... like people used to do before very recent years. I won't be putting a new one in or fiddling around with the one that's there.0

Ah, someone else watching American Idol! I like Joshua a lot, but he won't win. The dancer looked a bit like Kelis, so should be right up michaels street...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? A friend of ours had the same kitchen as our kitchen here, she ripped hers out over twenty years ago:eek:
Mine is ok, but for the drawers which collapse when you touch them, the sink with a hole in it, so you have to have a bucket underneath it, the fact i have the fridge plugged into an extension lead that has ro go on the counter to, too close to the sink for comfort. All in all, i look forward to a new kitchen. My new kitchen, short term, was going to be this kitchen moved into another room, but is now going to be utility sink, and some ply shelves moved into the other room.:D and sockets...lots and lots of sockets!0 -

Tonight I had a cheese & bean slice I picked up for 20p at the Co-op... and 4 digestives.
Need to be eating what I've got so I can now only buy things I will eat immediately and I have to get round to using what's in the cupboard... which is 2 packets of noodles, 2 cans of beans, tin of tomatoes and some sultanas.
I've also got an annoying bag of SR flour - annoying because unless I make/eat 50 steamed puddings this fortnight I'll never get through it before I leave, won't be taking it with me when I move, so that'll go in the bin.
Top tip is... never buy SR Flour. You never get through a whole packet before it's gone off - and if you've got plain and SR you've always got the wrong one in. So ... never buy SR flour, only use plain.
I will also be binning all those quarter loaves I froze.... without feeling guilty.0 -

I ausually only buy plain, i think sr loses its raising ability quicker than baking power added to plain.
Thats her kitchen, they say. She used to run it as a one table restaurant or something.
Can you use some of your flour nd the sultanas to make scotch pancakes/drop scones?0 -
Saw this recipe Pastures and would love to know what it makes if you happen to have a beer spare:
Beer bread?
1 beer + 3 cups of SR flour + 3 tsp sugar + 40 mins in a 350 deg. oven = the most ridiculously easy and delicious thing you'll ever make.

That's one of the things I remember exactly where I was.
I can close my eyes and remember every person there, the decor, the furniture, what was said, what people were wearing. I remember the chaos and confusion that reigned after the first tower was hit, and the silence that fell as we saw the second tower get hit on all the screens.... Because then we knew what it was.
Very sad day.
I had no idea when I woke up that morning just how much the world was going to change. And my world along with it.
A few others too, such as Diana dying, the Challenger shuttle disaster, the first Gulf war breaking out, etc.
Weird how we remember such things...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
