Why would twigs be any more of a fire hazard than any paper lampshades?

Because they would be closer to the bulb i think and burn for longer once ignited?

    Yes.

Had to bribe the youngest to make a huge fuss, or HID wouldn't have bothered to make any.

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The fish would bug me a bit if i had to wonder why it was there every day. But you have more gong on than me and might even equate fish with spring. It certainly would not be so ething that i would feel moved to distraction by while visiting a friend, so still think if you like it get it.

I think I'm OK with the fish. I can shrug and smile and think "Isn't it crazy - it has birds, dragonflies, butterflies and flying fish, all the same size. :rotfl:"

I have the ingredients for pancakes... but I don't have a frying pan or any lighting over the hob. Cooking needs to be done during daylight here.

You lot with your proper houses have no idea what it's like on the cheapskate side of life :)
