Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Thank you. :kisses3:
We will see. I am not going to get too emotionally invested at this stage...
In which case we will follow my mothers advice and get a cat.0 -

Could i not just use......twigs wired on to a cheap chandelier or is that a fire hazard?0 -
Still no joy from the laptop? I'm not sure what impact home insurance claims have on future premiums - perhaps one for the insurance board or you could run with and without scenarios through a comparison website.
Not sure it is a better solution but would you be able to have an uplighter type shade or would it shine in one's eyes as one came down the stairs? We have a few but with the energy saving bulbs they do seem very dim. We like ceiling fans in any rooms that get lots of sun but I don't think that is a problem with your dining room?vivatifosi wrote: »Am having trouble keeping up on my little device, but wanted to wish lir the very best of luck with the adoption plans.I think....0 -

Relax and enjoy what you have, rather than filling 3 second voids with new desires
Concentrate on enjoying each other.0 -

Concentrate on enjoying each other.. Tbf, the children thing has been on the agenda for a LONG time now. We have been not usiong contraception for ....well, a long time as it didn't seem necessary and thought we might be lucky. We have looked into fostering and more or less ruled out parenting, but its never really gone away. If it doesn't happen we will not be suicidal or any thing, but we would prefer it did happen.
As regards settling down....i don't think it ever will.:D I don't think we are that sort of household. There will always be excitements and dramas and new things...but people cope with them, we cope with them.
The thing we both said was that we didn't want to be as 'old' as our parents, and its not going to be so long before that the case. Time drips through our fingers....0 -
Is there any way of finding out this evening what sentence was handed out in a Crown court today?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You'd have thought the courts would have phoned you to let you know.0 -

We didn't do it because my family were too nomadic. I do know i was a very long thin baby though.....
My kother is not tall, and when my dad called her gay best friend at the time to tell him i was born he said ' she weighs six and a half pounds and is 22 inches long' my moms friend said ' taller than her mother then'
My parents are *not* nomadic. They've had that house I grew up in for 55 years and counting. The door was a great place to measure heights. I've never lived anywhere for long enough to do that with a door, though, and my kids have now got used to the idea that their heights are on the grandparents' door, so that seems normal to them. In any case, they like comparing their heights with their cousins, uncles, mum, etc at similar ages. Not sure it is a better solution but would you be able to have an uplighter type shade or would it shine in one's eyes as one came down the stairs? I think you're right that an uplighter wouldn't work in the dining room because of the stairs, although I am planning wall-mounted uplighters in the playroom, and the living room already has some. None of the rooms in my actual house gets hot enough to need a ceiling fan, but I might eventually get one installed in the conservatory. Last summer it seemed fine just by opening the door to the garden and the windows on the opposite side, but then we didn't sit out there because it was full of its enormous junk pile. We shall see how its temperature feels this summer.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Hope everything is ok doozergirl.
Never had to use this, do not know how often updated or how user friendly. Maybe one of the leagl peeps will be on soon.
