Just interested! Today's news was intriguing, so interested to hear different people's reasons! Mine:
1. Now too far away (petrol) out of town hypermarket
2. Local one price-fixed too high (used to be corner shop, now tesco Extra) - no bargains! so went to Somerfield next door.
3. No longer believe theyre the cheapest No coupons!
How about everyone else?

I spent £20 in tesco metro as needed few essential and was up that way but when it thiurght blimey its expensive.
few years ago we used to go big tesco but they knocked it down and built an even bigger one its huge both my 2nearest large tescos got knocked down and rebuilt.
The express shops a distance from me.
find the reductions rubbish.
big sainsburys near me cheaper and bargains in nearby co-op plus go local lidls so have no real need to go tesco.
only go in if they have super deals and see it on offer leaflets.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

No, because Asda and Morrisons are nearer, and I only travel the extra few miles to Tesco if they've sent me a £5 off a £50 shop type of coupon. This Christmas they didn't, so I didn't :cool:0

We haven't shopped at Tesco for years as we hate how they are the most horrible supermarket out of the lot.
If we did still shop there there would still be many reasons we wouldn't- It is the furthest away - seriously we have a co-op, Mr S, Mr A, Mr M, Mr W, costcutters, nisan, farmfoods, L!dl, A*d!, farm shop etc all nearer than the Mr T :rotfl: .
- They are always more expencive for us and since the Brand Match at Mr S if something is on offer we can get the same deal without having to go there
.
- The security gaurd always used to follow me around the store for no reason which p***ed me off no end .
- The nearest one to us is tiny - it is about the same size as the small co-op near-ish us! This means a lot of the stuff most people say about you couldn't get anyway as they just do not stock it.
- I've found from other people that they are very arsey with coupons so not very good there as we use quite a few when we shop.
- Etc

We have a Tesco Extra which is only 1 1/2 miles away but I have started to go further afield to Sainsburys, Asda.
I hate the way Tesco take the shelf edge prices off the day before their deals end. I thought it was a one off but ours have started doing it on a regular basis.
If you don't know the item is on offer until midnight then you would buy a more expensive item instead.
I also hate the way they raise the price of some items then reduce them slightly, stating it is a bargain.
They can stick their clubcard points, I don't use them much anyway.0 -
I didn't buy a single thing from T****S for xmas.
I had a £5 of a £30 spend voucher for M&S, A jar full of coins. My nectar points, and the £25 from M*******S. (In the 6 weeks of £40 spends I stocked up on loads of special offers.)
I used to spend a fair bit in T****S. Now I only go there for special offers.1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

I did, as usual. Online shop was delivered exactly as ordered. They've not let us down yet and see no need to change.0

Nope, barely do any shopping at Tesco now-days, their too expensive.
Do most of our shopping at Iceland and then get other bits n pieces from Poundland and a little bit from Tesco.Make £100 Selling Unwanted PC Parts: So Far £0
