After several attempts in the preceding years to see bands such as Rage Against the Machine & System of a Down only to be thwoarted by mummy, i was FINALLY allowed to go to a gig!

I hope your son gets over his crush on Alexandra Burke too. What piddle.

:T I saw Deftones 2 or 3 times back in the day I think.

God bless my ma, letting me to go heavy metal gigs at the age of 14 AND giving me and my mates a lift home!

14 - Glasgow Apollo - Boomtown Rats - train in/back with skool mates who were both 13. This weekend I have to take my daughter and her pal (both 13) to their 1st gig to see All Time Low at Glasgow 02 . . I have never heard of them but tickets says 14-16yo must be accompanied by an adult . . . better practise those dates of birth girls. :)

I like All Time Low, great band! They did a cracking cover of Rhianna's 'Umbrella' too :D

    Enjoy!
  • 14, though here isn't as big as London, though I was 16 when I went to Glastonbury.

Mum's worry, it's what we do, I would just ask him to text when he's at the venue and leaving again, and when he gets to where he's staying.

14 - went to a 911 concert in Bournemouth with two friends. My mum drove us and waited for us outside :o

My music taste has improved since then, honest!

Think I was 14 when I went to my first gig. Went to the Glasgow Barrowlands to see Motorhead with 2 mates. We managed to get down the front near the speaker stacks. Big mistake - we couldn't hear a thing for 2 days!!!
