How old were you when you went to your first gig.

My first gig was Ian Dury & The Blockheads. It was 1981, in Belfast and I was 18. It was a fantastic night and still the most memorable gig I have attended.0

Fantastic musicians one and all.
After Ian's untimely death, I bought a ticket for the Blockheads at Glasgow 02 about 6 years ago. They sold so few tickets, they played the gig up close and personal in the bar. Which was totally wonderful. Although I'm willing to bet they won't cross the border again due to the poor sales? Shame!
Saw Norman Watt-Roy playing bass with Wilko Johnson recently in Glasgow. Magic stuff. Sorry for shameless reminiscing!0 -
I think I was about 14 when I first went to a concert - it was the spring after the first series of Pop Idol, which I loved, so as a birthday present my mum took me and a friend to see Will Young and Gareth Gates on tour in Manchester. Oh the shame!
I can't remember the first gig I went to just with my friends, but I was probably about 16 or 17."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Would gave been around 16, "Taste Of Chaos" tour in Cardiff. Still remember a guy trying to preach to us (and the rest of the queue to get in). Was quite funny. Went to V festival then when I was 17, and been to a few more gigs since then. Nothing big though (and no more festivals) mainly down to money. Hoping to go to reading of something at some point after I finish university.0

I was 15 and I went to see Bon Jovi in London (I'm from Lancashire) on an organised coach trip. Looking back (and now with a 12 yr old of my own) I'm amazed my parents let me!!HIGHEST DEBT £63,300 LBM 27/5/2020 DEBT FREE DATE 31.08.20220
