    Hi all

What a great thread this is! :D

Thank you for sharing your story with us Suggs - it really brought home to me that having a weight problem and trying to do something about it can be a very lonely, private and solitary experience, which is the strength of this forum. We can be open and honest about the way we feel, our successes and failures, our difficulties, and even the fact that we don't all have iron self control and sometimes give in to temptation, and we know that we will get what we need here - sympathy, support and understanding.

Thanks again Suggs, and congratulations for taking the next step with Mrs Suggs. :T

What a story Suggs, and thank you for sharing it - you sort of got coerced (Sp?) into telling it! You are an inspiration and we are all so proud of you. Your children are very lucky as is Mrs Suggs. I'm delighted to hear of your new living arrangements and I wish both of you lots of future happiness. The best times are ahead now. Just make sure you dont get tempted too much by home cooking :rotfl:

Lois - Can you also put me "on hold" on the chart. I'm struggling at the minute. Got induction at gym tomorrow (similar to curves - free for month of March so thought I would give it a try) Typically, I have a really sore knee (which I havent had for about 2 years)

Suggs.... well done for writing your story..so well put and everyone on this thread can and does empathise with every struggle you have had...we all do.... this is not my first weight loss healthy eating plan and will most probably not be my last but I don't dwell on what is in the past...it is the present that counts and you have it in you to succeed you know you do:D

I wish you every single success and I know you are a star....keep it up lad...you have to believe in yourself that this time it will stay off and you will be so excellent at rugby you will become a pro:A

Congratulation on the moving in together...it is all good from here on in....

Alyssa.....so close only 10 lb to go.....try to hang in there if you can...you are so very close to the end..... going back to eating will only increase your weight and undo all the fantastic work you have done....so close...

Honey.....anything we can help you with? Keep you motivated?

well, its weigh in day :)

After all of the naughties on Friday night (cider) and chocolate (no out break in the food allergy). Yesterday went out to a metal detecting meet - and 5 hours later of walking i was tired!

From this week, going to work on getting the fat and sugar content of food that I have right down (to zero), tea now with spendia etc..

But I still lost 2lbs! :j :j - scales can't make its mind up over 17/9 or 17/10 - so tried it a few times and 17/9 came out more. Thats 6lbs lost since I started 3 weeks ago :)

    Morning All :hello:

The weekend has been rather hectic and this is the first time that I've been here since Friday, and what a lot of posts to read!!! A quick scan tells me there is lots of good stuff as usual, but I will leave it to savour for later when I can give it all the time it deserves (The Suggs saga especially - I hope that it was Campbellised:D )

I was so pleased when I got on my scales this morning and found that I had lost 2lbs :j :j , this takes me just over the 1 stone mark lost so far and the the psychological boost is worth it on its own.

I can't thank you folks enough for the inspiration etc and that goes for you too LOIS, remember :A and without your hard work and diligence in compiling the chart this thread wouldn't be what it is.

Well done Mike on your loss too, I had pineapple during the week do you think it was this is what helped me?

    Will be back later

    xxxx
