    Hi folks

Descoverd that this process is finally coming to a end - seems to have taken a age !! Thought initialy i had done well with 35 points but discovered that it is now not enough ! Did not get a offer for NW and cant do any other area . Apparently now 20 on reserve list but I been told that it is extreamly unlikely I will get a offer as most have been placed .
Starting new job this monday is gOod news for me . Hope all that got placed do well .
More of a irritation that in some regions people got placements with less that 35 . Bet scoring altered for different pannels ! Hope DWP do a full audit with mistry interview candidates to check consistancy

    Good luck
    Sue

Xutl, do you know what dpmnt in Newport you'll be in? That's 3 of us from here that will be there, plus 3 colleagues from my old job centre. Make sure you seek us out and say hi. I'm on 25+.

No idea, apparently I’ll be getting a pack within the next 7 days telling me more. I guess you’ll all be starting before me as I’m on the 9th. I may need to borrow your notes! ;)

I emailed them last night to see where I am on the waiting list to try and gage if I have any chance of being offered something. Obviously with 31 points I am not overly confident.

Has anyone else on the reserve list for London areas been offered provisional offers?

Wow just got an email regarding my position on the reservelist and I am 6th!!! I am now crossingeverything.

If I hear anything will keep you posted.

    Well I got it at last . . .
confirmation of my offer and the DWP have really outdone themselves. . I have been offered a choice of 4 sites, they said I could take my pick. .
    . .
    But . .

the nearest one is over 50 miles away from my home!
I dont drive and it will take 2 hours to get there via trains and buses!

so after nearly six months of stress and worry and excitement at finally getting back into work after 2 years on JSA . . . .

I have no choice but to refuse their !!!!!!, crap, stupid offer!!!!

Sorry for the language but I cant begin to express how totally gutted I feel, They really are a bunch of idiots, the whole process has been a joke and they have messed so many people around.
I hope that you all don't end up in the same boat as me, good luck to you all, I think your going to need it.

I'm off to dry the tears from my eyes.

My place on reserve list for B&S hasn't changed, even though most people have been given firm offers. Have been told that majority of posts have been filled and there will be no movement on the list for the foreseeable future....:(

2 hours isn't bad - just leave the house at 6:45. I leave the house at 6 everyday to get to work for 7:15.

if I wasn't a single mum with a young child that I can't leave with a child minder at 6am, I would no doubt take the job.

I know it's a long day but better than being on JSA surely?

I haven't started yet - I think it was Sunday I wrote 'next week' but I meant this Monday coming.
