Annual leave starts from your birthday month

My offer letter advised this: £21,001 - £30,000
3.5%
4.7%

This rate has changed from 1st April 2012. Previously it was 3.5%
Congrats to all the guys on the reserve list who have finally received offers, good luck to those waiting.
Is there anyone who has started but still following this forum. If yes, please share your experience---what sort of training is given and over how many weeks???

It did not like my copy paste. The letter states that pension contribution is 4.7% from 1st Apr 2012. Previously, it was 3.5%. Hope this helps.

Don't worry you get annual leave from the day you start but as already said you get a full years allowance from the 1st of the month your birthday falls in, until then you will receive a pro rata amount for the period from start date to that time.

And dont forget you wont be getting any payrises for the next 2 years, AND like me, your pension contributions will rise each year til 2015
.
• Hi everyone. I got my offer last friday and started on Monday! Not sure if it's the same for everyone but I'm spending my first week in my office then around 4-5 weeks at a different location for training. I was offered customer service manager but when I got to my office there was room for negotiation so hopefully getting my preferred choice of personal advisor after all ( not quite confirmed tho)
