It's the same for me, I work with some great people but sometimes you know its time for a change and a new challenge. I just hope everything works out, but I have to give a minimum of a months notice and probably some blood before I can leave.

The Job Centre can be a challenge that's for sure, but it's fun too. I loved being there when I was an FTA until last year, I was threatening to handcuff myself to my desk and claim squatters rights because I didn't want to leave! It's good to know I'll be going back, even if it's to a different office.

Well, I think we can safely say we're not hearing anything about locations today, but as the saying goes 'tomorrow is another day...'

Your right and we should be used to the waiting by now, but it certainly doesn't make it any easier. I hope when it does come through it's good news for you and will make this lengthly process worth it.

Oh and it's a Bank Holiday weekend, so it's not all bad!!!

Ah Bank Holiday weekends are great, but this one is bad in a way because if we don't hear tomorrow then we have to wait till Tuesday before we stand a chance of getting any news!

I wouldn't hold your breath on the location phone call. I though this had already been said but it will be 2 or 3 weeks until they make your formal offer or tell you where you will be based.

Security checks take about 3 weeks to come back and they can't tell you anything until then. Depending on how much notice your current job needs you're looking at a mid-June or start of July start date.

Sorry Marky Mark but you are wrong!!! Locations are already being given (I had mine y.day) as well as hours and start dates being confirmed. So wait by your phones, they can ring at any time, and dont forget they are on overtime to get this exercise completed so dont rule out the weekend.
