ppl who have already been notified, how long did they take to reply? thank you x
Don't suppose for a second its any consolation but I contacted ESSR last Monday (9 days ago) and have still not received a reply about the reserve list.
That said, I'm not that interested now. Summer in Durham asked the same question as I did at the same time and received an an email last week advising her of her position. Based on her information, bearing in mind we both scored 40 points, I think I will be around the mid thirty mark on the list. I'd be so very surprised if all of the top ten get positions within the next 6 months.
I'll keep tabs on the forum guys, and continue to wish every one of you all the best.
Good luck to all.0 -
I also contacted ESSR last Monday morning and have yet to receive a response.
Find it amazing a result of 40 places a candidate around the mid 30 position on a reserve list. In one respect, I wish I had never found out my interview score because during the time which has passed between the scores being posted and the outcome communicated (which was very lengthy as we all know), I had built my hopes up!!! Then finding out that 41 placed me on a reserve list was quite disappointing!!
I echo mackem bill's thoughts. Not expecting many (if any) of the reserve list candidates to be offered a position within the next 6 months.
On a more positive note, good luck to all of those who have been successful and I hope you receive start dates soon.0 -

That seems outrageous! Thirty odd people scoring 98888 or above ? Im not being funny but that can't be right, can it????
Personally I find it remarkable that anyone manages to get 9/9 in any competency let alone multiple competencies. But 30 + candidates achieving these scores in just one region??? Absolutely incredible :A0 -
In case anyone was interested...the official number of posts that were offered in open competition was just over 1100.0

Hi all
My partner emailed for her position on the reserve list 9 days ago and hasn't heard back yet. Frustrating!! Really want to know as have seen ppl on here with scores either side of hers (partner scored 36) and the 35 was approx 13th on reserve list and 37 received a provisional offer! (sorry I can't remember your names). It'd be good to know where she is on the list but yet again, it's just a waiting game
Congrats to everyone who's received a provisional offer and fingers crossed for those on the reserve lists!0 -
Locations have started to be offered for the SW Wales posts.

Yes and then 50% cut, 600 actual posts for 60000 candidates. That's called recession and poor economy. But who is responsible for recession? People. Enough rant.0 -

Your partner is on the merit list between 1-12, got higher chances to be offered an interview, seem all 12 people have 36 marks , but which competency is importAnt to your district? It's like a chance anything can happen. Wish your partner good luck. Xx0 -
SE Wales internal applicants (who applied externally) have started to hear, I'm getting nervous now although it's unlikely the externals will hear today I would have thought.£2012 in 2012 - £13810
