Hey
Just a bit of hope for those on the reserve list, i was made a provisional offer yesterday through e mail after being placed on the reserve list about 2 weeks ago - so there is a chance!
That's great, congratulations!!! Can you please share which region was this offer made in? Also your position on the reserve list if you know. Thanks0 -

Are you willing to tell us which region, your score and position on the reserve list. It may help some others, one way or the other.
Thanks, and well done.
well done Hayzy, that shows there is hope for all us reserve listers, Dragonchild - I was going to post the exact same questions lol0 -

Wow thanks for the insight, moron. Any other pearls of wisdom?
I feel sorry for the unemployed public in this country that this is the standard of person they're going to have to deal with. People who can't see any opinions except their own, people who can't make their own points but wait for someone else to say something then click the 'thanks' button, as in, 'Thanks, I couldn't form an opinion of my own so I'm grateful you did it for me'.
Of course, in 2-3 weeks when people start getting their formal offers you'll be nowhere to be seen because you won't stand by anything you said. Lucky lucky job seekers.0 -
It's confirmed that dwp is going to have our (externals) basic checks (east scotland )done by 15th may, provided you ticked that it is sent to dwp directly, and dwp has registered this preference, then we can expect some news for locations commencing week 15th may. Until then no email, site checking. Hth0

Marky Mark, I haven't bothered replying anymore as I don't feel that we are going to agree, so I thought I would just leave it. You stated in your post that people wouldn't hear for 2-3 weeks. You didn't specify internal or external. I said that you were evidentally wrong as some people (albeit internal applicants who applied externally) HAVE heard. Now you're telling me I'm wrong. Fine, whatever, let's just agree to disagree.
Also, I worked at the Job Centre for around 2 years on an FTA contract. During this time, I helped many people into work. I also help other people (who were long term unemployed due to a myriad of reasons including drug and alcohol dependency, extenisve criminal records, illness etc) to get support, training and work. I received many letters of thanks, some of those were from people who said that they felt like giving up as no-one seemed to care until they met me and were suddenly treated as a person. I am sure many other people on here who have dared disagree with you could also give examples such as this. To say that we'd be bad at the advisor jobs just because we don't agree with you is disrespectful and insulting, and to be honest, is incorrect.
Many people on here, some of whom have disagreed with you, have shown that they are caring and helpful as they are willing to share the information they've been given, and help to encourage other users. To me, that reflects that when they do get an advisor position, they will be great at helping, encouraging and supporting their customers to get back into work.
Anyway, this is the last post I will submit in response to you as I feel the discussion is futile and it's not what the thread is for, nor is what I am here for.£2012 in 2012 - £13810 -
