I guess I'll try calling again tomorrow and over the weekend.
MarkyMark don't be a 'jerk' if you can't add anything valuable then keep it to yourself0 -

Markymark, you really are an unpleasant character.quo-vadis mistakenly said it was makembill that made the comment that YOU ACTUALLY MADE.
Unpleasant character is an understatement, but "silly dishonest child" is more accurate.Hi Fakey Mark...Jump at any opportunity to cover up the criticism and avoid answering the many qustions about your performance.
Whatever floats yer boat...
Yep, I called MarkyMark out on an earlier page...and via PM. Both questions got ignored, and he's posted since.
I went for Derbyshire too, and was reading the claims he got in with 38, and then he got in with only 31.
I got 36 and Jane got 38. Yet we're both on the Reserve Lists.
I spoke today directly with the person organising the list for Derbyshire.
Theres 22 jobs (instead of the estimated 50 when we applied in January).
Noone in Derbyshire with less than 40 was offered a job. So if "Markymark" has a job, he didnt get either 31 or 38.
Perhaps he was being humble and got 41?
I should have told who I spoke to that some silly kid in his early/mid-20’s called Mark was making claims that he got in for the Derby area with 31 points.
Assuming you’ve actually even got a job Mark, I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to trace you if only 22 have got job offer for the whole County.
This has been emotional for all of us, and I'm sure 99.99% of all those who got through, whilst highly elated and rightly so, do feel the pain for those of us who scored high but still didn’t get an offer, because they can imagine how that’d be.
Why people sign up just to tell lies and poke fun, is absurd.
MarkyMark, you’ve got some serious growing up to do kid.0 -
Its no wonder there are so many of us left disappointed & on reserve lists if the available positions have been slashed to 22 here, 18 (if I remember rightly) from another region. I wonder how many offers have been made throughout the UK , compared with the original 4000?????0

Jesus everyone on here is really uptight. You can't take a joke or respond constructively to any opinion which doesn't match your own - I don't think any of you are cut out for work in the job centre.0

The only thing around here that is illegible ...........is your last postMarkyMark87 wrote: »HAHAHAHAHA ROFL LMAO LOL!!!!! MY PHONE AUTOCORRECTED AND PUT THE WRONG WORD! OMG! SO FUNNY!
On a more serious note though, in an advisory role at the job centre you might come across the odd person who makes a spelling mistake. Will you stop reading and tell them 'sorry mate, you made a mistake here I can't possibly understand the rest of it now.'MarkyMark87 wrote: »Oh and the correct way to use an ellipsis is '...' not '....................'. It's also generally used to indicate some form of omission in a sentence, often when quoting someone, not for hilarious dramatic effect.
BUT DON'T WORRY, I STRUGGLED THROUGH YOUR POST AND MANAGED TO READ IT TO THE END.

Hi.
Wow so their maybe well less than the 4000 jobs as low as 1500 in total even lower ! Wonder if things will change when the economy stalls and untill the torries decide that they were wrong !
Yes mark whatever your name is people on here find it hard to take a joke, like me thay may have been unemployed for some time, struggling financially and have other personal issues which make this chance of a decent role very important ! It might be fun for you to winde people up but its not big or cleaver.

Are you FREAKING kidding me? I currently work within JobCentre Plus. I have no idea if you are an internal or external applicant but let me assure you that, in my office, we treat everyone with respect and have a high level of understanding and compassion for one another. If you are indeed an external applicant who has been fortunate enough to have been granted a post then you are about to have your eyes opened. We do not act like children. We do not speak to people like they are beneath us. We certainly do not belittle people who are a little on edge as they wait to hear about a job which may or may not improve their life for the better.
If, on the other hand, you are an internal applicant and therefore already within the DWP then do everyone a favour and leave. I think I can speak on behalf of my colleagues when I say that individuals with your attitude would not be made welcome in my work place.0 -
I have e-mailed them, and will call the helpline again tomorrow.
This kind of thing ALWAYS happens to me
Do we think the phone people can actually look at individual's cases or are they just for generic advice?
Jess
I think they can look at individual cases as have been asked for my NI and name a few times when I've called. Whether they'll release the information is another story.
I hope you get B&S, fingers crossed they just forgot to send you the email .0 -
ive had confirmation that im 39 on waiting list for my region, with a score of 30, oddly enough ive seen feedback for 27 for someone i know who has had a provsional offer for the same region as me.
only difference between us is that they are or were ft with dwp.
i thought internatal applicants had same chance as us all in getting a post. seems not.
internal with score of 27 = provisional offer
external with a score of 30 = 39 on waiting list0
