Yeah, but B&S have. So, surely, if someone on here can get an offer on 32 there, they KNOW I've got 35, then it shouldn't matter who sends the flippin e-mail.
No one has bothered to ask, but I don't WANT to work in my home region, the transport's a nightmare, and it would take me forever t get to work. B&S is more convenient... and as I applied for the job, and scored high enough there, then surely I should have an offer from them.
Sounds a bit ranty that, I'm sorry. Just would rather know if I'm going to have to learn to drive within the next few weeks or not lol0 -
Out of interest - was anyone in the NE successful? All I can think is that the "estimated" 100 jobs in the region has plummeted, people getting 40 / 45 and being put on the reserve list is mad. I'm gutted my 34 wasn't enough for the reserve list when people are getting provisional offers in other regions with less!0

I was hoping for Winchester or Southampton in this region. I was also told there were 150 positions in Hamps/IOW at interview. Are there any updates on that number.
I hope you're right but the email I got said : "The immediate postings have been secured by individuals who scored higher than you during the interview process". I got 35 so understand they've made offers to others higher up the list. Has anybody in Hants/IOW been made an offer and on what score ??0 -
Tabitha T, I was put on the reserve list on Thursday and by the end of yesterday I'd been moved to provisional offer. Really don't give up hope...
Graham
Congrats Graham, Have you submitted your location form? I am hoping to get appointment in my town edinburgh, but no surety . Fingers crossed x0 -
I have also got an email. I was prompted to check after your post. I am genuinely gutted for you Charlie. Some people elsewhere in the country have been successful on less.
I scored 40 points.
I have NOT been offered a post.
I am on the reserve list.
I’m obviously pleased to have avoided the rejection list but I have said all along that the level of scores up north was very high. I would hope that with 40 points I’ll be quite high on the list of reserves.
Well done to all in NE who were successful.
me too, for the same area. (north east) Scored 40 in the interview (five 8's) and got an email telling me I am on the reserve list. Disappointing when others have secured positions on less but I guess it just goes to show that it really does depend on where you are in the country (postcode lottery) so those of you who have scored less don't give up hope. You might still get the offer you're waiting for xx0 -

I totally agree with you. They should have sent out all of the results together or taken into consideration what you said about score being high enough to get offer even though not your 'home' district. All very confusing. I'm assuming that I'm on reserve list for all my applications but cannot be sure until they tell me.
I really do hope that you hear good news soon. :A0 -
Charlie mate if I were you I would ring the recruitment line or shared services first thing on Monday morning and double check. You never know, a mistake could have been made somewhere so it's best to check.0

ps- has anyone had anything back at all for Durham and Tees Valley???0
-
It does seem that some districts scored higher than others so it is number of applicants/posts in offices that counts towards either merit/reserve list.
I scored low marks [between 20 and 30] and still got on reserve list but not as many people posted scores over 40 for my district so I think it's all relative.
As we have come to expect - just sooooooooooo confusing!?!?0 -
