I have also got an email. I was prompted to check after your post. I am genuinely gutted for you Charlie. Some people elsewhere in the country have been successful on less.
I scored 40 points.
I have NOT been offered a post.
I am on the reserve list.
I’m obviously pleased to have avoided the rejection list but I have said all along that the level of scores up north was very high. I would hope that with 40 points I’ll be quite high on the list of reserves.
Well done to all in NE who were successful.
Thanks Bill, hopefully you won't be on there too long.
I'm going to have to sign off for a bit now. Had everything pinned on this and let myself believe I might have a chance
Good Luck to everyone still waiting0 -

Hmmm.
Still haven't heard anything.
Very surprised that a score of 40 isn't enough for an instant offer. Or 34, for that matter.
Guess it really does depend on the region.
Wondering now whether we're back to this 'home region' rubbish, and I won't hear anything until BC says I can, even though I know I scored high enough for a position in B&S (based on what's been said on here)

No, I'm hoping to be offered a position in Dover, Folkestone, Canterbury or Ashford and am dying to know if I've been successful. I scored 36 and fear that I'll be placed on the waiting list.
How did you get on at interview, if you don't mind me asking?0 -
Anyone heard anything from Durham and Tees?0

Well, my DH just got the 6 month 'reserve list' email from Hants & IOW. So disappointing, he scored 37 and we were sooo hoping for a positive, he's been out of work for 2 years.
:(:(
Re my earlier post they did send him through a location form yesterday afternoon so I guess you never know. So sad though......we had really hoped for something to celebrate. Tabs
hi i also got the same for Hampshire and iow. have u got preference list from jcp havant email as well???0 -
Congratulations to everyone who has received an offer already.
Still waiting for results for Derbyshire, very frustrating! Although not holding my breath with the scores I received, it would just be nice to know for definate *sigh*0 -
Good luck with that!! Just a word of warning I work for DWP got a job 3 years ago and even though they write that applications for part time will be considered its almost impossible to get. Probably depends on location but where I am its a nightmare.
Thanks amus, you are right. Let's see how it goes now as I ve accepted the provisional offer. The recruitment said, dwp will send the contract after collecting the references etc.
The contracted hours are negotiable depending on the needs in the district.0 -
I have received a provisional offer - 31 points!!!
On the references section it asks you to provide current and previous employers plus another referee yet there are only 2 section to complete.
Do I need current and previous employer or just current employer and personal ref?0 -

Humph.
Hi Jess, was BS the district you were interviewed for? Or was it BC. on the day of my interview I was asked whether I wanted BS or BC. As it was BS who scored and sifted me I stuck with them but also had to fill in a location pref form for BC. no mention of Staffs. I wonder when I will hear from BC [or staffs], if at all.0
