Charlie mate if I were you I would ring the recruitment line or shared services first thing on Monday morning and double check. You never know, a mistake could have been made somewhere so it's best to check.

Thanks Joe. Will definitely call, doubt there is any mistake judging by several people with 40 only getting a reserve list in the same region but at least I can give them some feedback about the whole process..>!:(

    Radiofree - it's scored out of 45 x

Yes you are right Charlie, 40+ is rare though.

True. Wonder what the outright "provisional offer" pass mark was for NE... Will ask when I call the recruitment line on Monday.

Just glad I didn't get this result any later, would've kinda put a dampner on my 21st Birthday on Tuesday!! *plays worlds tiniest violin*

I really don't comprehend that...if Bill and the other forum member got 40 and there were 100 vacancies that meant 100 people scored more than them...I just don't see it myself. Unless the number of vacancies has been drastically reduced. Or they were marking way too generously. Either way, I thought Bill and the others would have been a shoe in with 40. It's very strange. Definitely give them a call though man.

My thinking is the number of vacancies has plummeted from what they initially thought. Will let you all know what they say but I'm not holding my breath!! Thanks mate - and Good Luck!

I hope you're right but the email I got said : "The immediate postings have been secured by individuals who scored higher than you during the interview process". I got 35 so understand they've made offers to others higher up the list. Has anybody in Hants/IOW been made an offer and on what score ??

Thats the rub, astra5, people on 40 are getting reserve list emails for a number of areas. I just got an offer in East Anglia with 37 after failing the sift?!???

I think there was a deadline for all regions to reply to resource central, and the merit list is being held back until all lists are finalised. I had an email from Hamps/IOW yesterday for an updated placement list. So on that, and bearing in mind some areas have larger numbers of positions available, it may be the case, MAYBE, this is purely a educated deduction, that these areas will be updated in the days to come.

    I hope I am right.

Tabitha T, I was put on the reserve list on Thursday and by the end of yesterday I'd been moved to provisional offer. Really don't give up hope...

That is really good to hear!!! Of course I am not holding my breath (at this rate if I did I would have passed out weeks ago lol) but hey ho... the DWP never fail to surprise me. Watch this space lol x

I applied for the Tyne/Wear Region. I attended my interview over 6 weeks ago. I gave up and thought my application was unsuccessful. I am currently in employment so am unsure if I will accept the offer.

I got an email at 2.45pm saying that I have a provisional offer. I am an external candidate but I have been working recrutiment for 5 years specializing in the longterm unemployed and used this job for my written and oral compentencies.

My scores were 86% in the online test.
    My competency scores were 8,7,7,8,7.
    My interview scores were 9,8,9,8,8

My friend got 8,7,7,8,7 and is on the reserve list.
I applied to two other regions but haven't had any response.

Perhaps I'll be working with you soon look forward to hearing from anyone in Tyne/Wear who have been successful. Where are you looking to work?
