    Just got this message....

    Applicant Status

    : Application on hold

Thank you for your interest in the Department of Work and Pensions.

Your application is currently being held on our reserve list and will be considered against any similar vacancies that arise in the future.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to return regularly to check the status of your application or check your e-mail inbox.

Mannnn long things lol how long you guys think it would take to find out if successful or not?

This is what I got 10 minutes before I got the waiting list message. just keep refreshing, and you'll get your result.

Well, my DH just got the 6 month 'reserve list' email from Hants & IOW. So disappointing, he scored 37 and we were sooo hoping for a positive, he's been out of work for 2 years. :(:(:(
Re my earlier post they did send him through a location form yesterday afternoon so I guess you never know. So sad though......we had really hoped for something to celebrate. Tabs

Take heart; I'm a serving Civil Servant, who started life in my current job from the reserve list. I was on it for a few days when I got a call to start.

Also, posted on this forum a few days ago (sorry but don't remember who the lucky person was) a poster who is in this recruitment process said they'd been placed on the reserve and the next day was provisionally offered a place.

I would be stunned if 37 points doesn't get your partner through the door soon.

    Good luck

My OH has heard from Birmingham and get a offer on a score of 35 (I thought it was 36)

So happy for him as he's been out of work since mid 2010

I'm normally very humble but I fancy being a little smug...

    I told you so!:T:beer::j

Brilliant news for you both. I'm chuffed

37 is a very good score and I am sure he'll be near the top of the wait list. I saw someone who got wait listed only to have a offer sent the following day. It's not the end because it's been a long process and I am sure some people will drop out.

Did he only apply for Hants & IOW?

Ahhh, thanks so much guys for your stories of experience and supportive comments, that has really helped and does give me heart. Yes, my DH only applied for Hants/IOW, we were first given the nod for this via the Work Programme peeps and didn't even realise there were other counties he could have applied to, grrr. Ah well, hopefully there will be good news to follow. We
were so sure he would get an offer, in addition to his score he had loads of lovely personal comments in the feedback section....ah well, maybe it will still come to pass.

Good, good luck to all those still waiting, it sure has been a lengthy process. Fingers crossed and keep posting!
