Quick question. Are the people who applied for multiple districts being given multiple offers?

    yeah just one hun

Wonder why that is then. It does say though if i had applied for multiple districts i would need to wait for them all to come in separately and then make a decision, but not until they had all come in. It says on my application status i need to fill in the next steps but in my communication bit right at the end of the email not to do this as i am already a civil servant and they will contact me shortly. I would ring them but as i am going to be away next week just have to leave it grr Hope this is ok as i have accepted within the 5 days

  • Did you put on the e-mail that you would be away? Just make them aware of the situation, and let your line manager know about it also...

You shouldnt have any problems as you've accepted the offer, but they may try and contact you to no avail!

I've just been informed by e-mail I've made the reserve list, and the immediate postings have been secured by individuals who scored higher than me during the interview process.
The reserve list will last for 6 months from the date of the email and whilst they hope to be able to offer me a position during this time they cannot guarantee this. My score was 33.

My OH has heard from Birmingham and get a offer on a score of 35 (I thought it was 36)

So happy for him as he's been out of work since mid 2010

yes i did this but not gonna be able to contact work either, Have given details to my mum to check the cs site everyday and to tx me if anything else comes through.

I have told them i am going on hols so hopefully be ok. Was told at work that they work on a release date from one department to another of about 4 weeks so should be ok

Please log in to your communication centre using the link below to view your feedback. Please note, you may be prompted to select “Next Steps” – do not take this action, as you are a Civil Servant it is not relevant to you.

Please click here to view the status of your applicationWe will contact you shortly to confirm your start date, the details and location of the post and the terms of the contract once you have provisionally accepted this offer.

This is what it said at the end of mine. Anyone else already employed by dwp had this.
  • Sherri Lou,

Did it ask you to fill in references? and to fill in a health questionnaire?

I've a feeling they've made a mistake on my application for NW..

just a quick one Mine says in my communication bit that i only had to accept or reject the provisional offer by email as i am already a civil servant do not have to fill out the next steps. Has anyone else had this who already work for the department?

No it was just the bit at the bottom ive posted what it said. But it does give me the chance in the applicant status to go on to next steps which i would imagine this info is held but ive just ignored that on the basis of the other email if you know what i mean, I think they may have made a mistake as to be honest they already have this info of health and references if you are already employed by them.
