I have my interview in Manchester next week and I'll be feeling happy if I get scores like yours! How do these compare with your application competency scores?

I just hope the interviewers aren't heartily sick of the whole thing by the time it gets round to my interview.

My online score was bad 55565 and 83%. do they count them as well? i don't stand any chance then. oh please wish me luck. i worked for the department and was awarded with many complements and M&S vouchers for making may positive contributions. had documentry proof of thoes achievements but they didn't bother looking at them. I actually scored 98999 for the same competencies while i was on FTA contract and that was purely based on my actual performance throughout the year. I was the only staff out of 11 in our office that was offered extention because of my commitment dedication and drive. just feel like burning thoes complementery letter and awards. they gave me 4 on customer service competency but that was my strongest point. my entire career is customer service based.n e way just need a job. wish you all good luck.

O well, it all depend which district you applied from, some district have relaxed marking and on average candidate secured 35+ so tough competition, to be on the merit list, others had strict marking and fewer number of candidate were passed so almost everyone who secured minimum 4 in each competency will be on merit list, unless few other candidates from other district had already applied for this district too and are ready to relocate. Its all 'relative' then again, number of vacancies is not confirm. Its possible to have 100 vacancies and only 80 candidate who passed the interview , or 30 vacancies and 100 candidates for it.
So judging or guessing is all fine, but would say dont loose hope if you just passed or start celebrating if you secured higher marks. Becuase at this stage anything. I mean ANYTHING can happen.

Its just like that in Northumbria candidate who secured 80% were not invited for the interview. and on some districts only passing the the online test meant confirmed interview, even competencies were not looked at. It all depends on how many people applied , no. of vacacies and , the scores in the district.

It is permanent position , she can work as long as she is able to and in the last few months of pregnancy she can take a leave.

It's not over till it's over, right? I know of so many people that have failed but you're still in the game.
Worth celebrating anyway, make the most of this Friday ;)

Thanks for your re-assuring post, you're right I'm still in with a chance so I guess I should be grateful for that.
    Cheers

No legally they can't discriminate against someone that's pregnant, meaning they can't terminate her contract because of her pregnancy.
