    hi all
had my interview today in manchester. very very worried. my score 7,4,6,7,6 .do i stand any chance or no hope? please guyes let me know very worried. surprised the results were up within 3 hours. please all you nice people let me know if thats enough to get a placement.....

Decent results, I'd say you stand a chance. When you went for interview, did they give you the form with all the JCP locations on? How many did you tick? I ticked nearly all of them. Hopefully this will give me a better chance!

As has been said, anything 4+ is a pass. The 4 isl a decent score, then 2 x 7's and 2 x 6's are good. Best of luck.

I got my results which are pretty poor, but nothing below 4.
So I guess if I'm on that merit list then I'll be way down the bottom of it.
    Good Luck everyone xx

Well you have not failed the interview and should be proud of yourself. All you can do now is wait and see what happens. I do sincerely wish you good luck.

Not sure what the average is. I had my interview in Manchester last week and scored 8 8 7 7 5.
  • Is it wrong everyone someone posts a score lower than mine I get happy, and depressed when the opposite is true

    Damn this waiting game

Hi to everybody on this sunny Friday afternoon. Rang the Helpline yesterday as they had not replied to my DH's email. Nice chap but said they were fed up with people ringing as the number posted on this forum was incorrect and related to the technical helpline. He said they have been told to say that no decisions will be made until end of April and please don't ring them as they can't help with individual enquries. If there are any specific queries, use the email address. Erm, right, did that and got no response I said....no answer for that apart from the fact he said the dept were all at a conference in London yesterday and admin would be on the back burner for a couple of days. Yawn.....
  • Hey,

To save myself wondering like everyone else I asked at the end of my interview how long it would take. I was told clearly that no decisions are made at all until all the interviews are finished (5th April). They said that we should expect to hear if we have a post at the end of April or start of May.
So I guess we got to put it all to the back of our minds until then. Only people who failed interview will defo know now they do not have a post!

I agree it sucks as in most jobs you hear within a week after interview!!! but they said its because of the mass recruitment going on and that the more people phone up/e-mail the more delays in admin it causes so its best to sit tight. They have said the end of the month, so if it gets to mid May then we could start ringing up. Then people may have to give notice periods etc so I wouldnt expect to be starting the job before June guys!

    Hope this helps

I have my interview in Manchester next week and I'll be feeling happy if I get scores like yours! How do these compare with your application competency scores?

I just hope the interviewers aren't heartily sick of the whole thing by the time it gets round to my interview.
