HellO, anyone got their scores back from west London. Miss peri where are you?

I got 6,6,6,6,6. I really hope that's enough to scrape through.

Have heard that west lOndon are really low markers. Can anyone offer any feedback please? X

    Hey JessYoung,

Hi, thanks for the tip. What I'm really after is the pension arrangements that will apply to me if I come back in to JCP after 6 years away. I was on the 'classic' scheme and my partner's payslip shows that she contributes 1.5% to that scheme. Would the percentage be diffrerent for me as a 'new' member of staff or would I be able to transfer my pension back onto the classic scheme and pay the same rate? I gather that JCP employee contributions are going up next month (not sure by how much) so I assume I'd start paying a higher percentage. So much for the strike on pensions.... ;)

    Personally I suspect you wouldn't be able to transfer it back..however you could try ;

Throwing the hook out with bait again. Hope nobody bites.

Hmm no not really. Here is someone asking for a perfect answer to a particular competency.

1). No one necessarily has one
2). If they did, why would they share it?
3). Is this a forum to give support or to give people interview answers they wouldn't otherwise be able to provide?

But then maybe if we all message you to give your exact answers you'll happily oblige? BUT OH NO I'M A TROLL! EVEN THOUGH WHAT I'M SAYING IS COMPLETELY RIGHT AND NO ONE DISAGREES I'M STILL A TROLL!

    Amby

If there was a magic answer to getting an 8 or 9 then we'd all be doing it and have no need for this thread.

Good results come from extensive and sound experience.

To score highly you really have to set out a strong example and cover the points within the competency very well indeed. It's no point making it up because they'll suss you out. You need to have a relevant task that allows you to show all of the skills required. To do this you have to reflect heavily on the things you've done hat have stretched you or that you have done well and describe them in a selfish way with you at the fore all the way. Talking about teamwork may show you're good with people but talking about how you led the team to success shows you can manage the people to get the best out of them

It’s important not to wait for recruitment but to build up your evidence regularly and add to it as you can. I also have a professional development plan too which shows my targets, aims and ambitions which is realistic.

As a footnote, three years ago I penned in promotion in April 2012. Who knows.

There's absolutely no need to tell the truth. Just lie and test the limits of your imagination. How will they know?

Well done you 'patiently' waiting E. Londoners who interviewed up to the 14th!
So, there IS a pattern poker21.
    Wonder how poiyut did.

Hi Amby, no scores yet! I interviewed on the last day so have the longest wait for East Londoners. Based on poker21's logic I have around a 10-12 day wait so I reckon early april I'll get some feedback.

    Of course :-)

'I was doing this well good customer service yeah. There was this customer right who needed me to do some stuff for them and I was like yeah no worries. So I was doing all this stuff yeah and then some other stuff and they was like 'wow thanks darling' and I was all 'don't mention it, it anytime'. And I actually said anytime in case they needed anymore help. So what you got is me who was well wicked at customer service and this bloke who was proper happy with what I'd said. He left looking chuffed and my manager said I was a proper good.'

    well done!

I'm still waiting, interview was on 17th so hopefully by Saturday.

Just to let you know that someone who had their interview on the 15th had their interview scores yesterday as well. Therefore keep a lookout for yours today. Pattern has changed again. Good Luck.
