The questions are more specific than that - they could touch on any area of the competency so best to make sure you've hit most of the bullet points in the comp and maybe have a second example in case your first doesn't quite fit.0

Hello,
I've just called the DWP helpline number, and got some information I thought I would share - apparently some of the delay we are experiencing surrounds an issue with each region finalising the number of vacancies they actually have, and also an issue with "multiple candidates" - those of us who have applied for more than one position. Apparently the problem is that an area needs to take responsibility for the over-all application and finalising scores etc. And currently this isn't happening, so they have a lot of applications "on hold" that need to be reviewed.
I was also told that the start dates will be in waves.
Not sure if this is new or helpful, but wanted to post in case it was.

That was helpful and as I had to call about a related issue I thought I'd ask a question as well. Apparently, it is the multi region candidates causing issues as no region can make offers while they still have candidates outstanding. So even though Worc/Cov/Wark has finished interviews they are hanging on for Birmingham and Solihull to finish and score before they can progress. Couple that (for my local geographical area) with the issues with Black Country seemingly having all their interviews done by other regions and the crossover in applicants is going to cause delays.
This will probably change in a day or two though, particularly if they can work out a slicker way of doing things.
Fingers crossed for all the other regions hurrying up now!0 -
Silly last minute (well last 6 days!) jitters question. When I applied originally online, the "Analysing, Improving and Changing" competancy was not included. Is this included in the interview?0

I don't have any of my payslips from my last job nor do I have my p45 as I lost everything whilst moving homes. Does anybody foresee this being a major issue and will they not just be able to contact my previous employers to gather all the information they need?
Has anybody else not had these documents on interview? If so, could you tell me what I can expect.
Thanks

No, just the same ones as original online application. Good Luck0 -

I think you will be ok, providing they can verify your employment with HMRC. If you can get a headed letter confirming employment dates that would be helpful though. I'd call the helpline for verification though.

I didn't have any of my payslips/P45/P60s etc - as the P forms are held by my employer and it's always a bit of a give away that you're looking for another job if you ask for them - I explained this to the woman doing my admin and she was ok with it.0 -
Does anyone know whether I need to provide proof of a course I started but didn't complete? I did mention it briefly in my application.
Also I did a couple of shifts with a temp agency a year ago that I didn't mention in my application. All I have is a payslip they emailed to me - no original payslip and it addresses me as Mr when I am a Ms, not sure if I should include this information either?
Been stressed over competencies and half forgot about all this paperwork!0
