Awww it's so nice that sad people are still talking about me! Since you're so keen to know I scored 7,4,6,6,4 so not as bad as I thought but I'm probably out the running.

This forum is full of lovely people, threatening to 'cyber bully' people because they had a different interview experience to you.

Don't worry though, you didn't bully me away, I just go to work during the week and don't have time to check this site all the time, or check the civil service site 18 times a day. It's good that you have so much free time though - hopefully you used it wisely and came up with great examples. 'I had to do the washing up. I drew up an action plan and presented it to my husband'. That kind of thing.

You r the only person who claim to have a 'different' interview experience and had a numerical test as well.:rotfl: Why u lied wanda, why u keep doing it , Why? Just be honest... And that's not asking too much is it?

Really? Is that your best effort at spelling and grammar?

I'm not the only one though am I. Someone posted the questions they were asked but apparently they're too specific so they must be a liar.

Perhaps the additional test was because I scored relatively poorly on the first online test but my application score was really good, I don't know. As i've said before though just believe what you like, but please stop talking about me. It makes you look sad and pathetic, which I'm sure you are.

Sounds as though it's for the best that you're (probably) out of the running if that's your attitude towards people not in full-time work...

Thank you for a lovely post :)
I hope they take it as good thing with me adding examples at the end - they gave me the option to and were very positive about it. I came out feeling really positive and happy but now I've just wrapped it around my head too many times and keep thinking I could have done more!
All I can do now is wait and see..
I asked the people who were dealing with the paperwork etc how long I should expect to wait to hear something back - they said the last interviews in Nottingham district are Monday so feedback SHOULD start going up Tuesday..I'll be checking before that though lol :rotfl:
Good luck to you MackemBill :)

I wish you well Nottingham Girl...maybe we should call you Maid Marion. :rotfl:

As your interview is over you should not let it worry you. Your time for worrying has past.

Are you coming at this from an employed position or looking for work? I've come at it looking for a promotion and as there are so many new starters hoping that by working hard there may be further opportunities in the next few years.

Also, do let the others waiting for interview know whether or not you felt the questions were straight forward and based on the competencies or weird mix ups of sub headings, which is worrying many. You might manage to add support to previous answers, one way or the other.

Some places are looking for scores around 30+ for offers, so you should have an idea once you get your score how close yo are to gettging through the door...or the trapdoor (oops, there I go worrying you again). As I say mine were posted within 20 hours.

Good luck Maid Marion:A (lucky angel)

Ok. I just think that someone who goes to work every day is probably better suited to this kind of job than someone who doesn't work and spends their day on the Internet trying to play detective and accusing people of lying. Maybe I'm crazy though. Maybe those people should mention it at their interview if they think it's a worthwhile pastime.

Im a great believes of innocent until proven guilty. Whether you did, or, didn't have a test or whether you lied or told the truth about it, really has no effect to anyone on the site.
Wanda, ignore everyone that offends you and good luck with the interview results.
In a job like this we may come across 'liars' but we will also come across people that have experienced something different to normal. Unless we have hard evidence to prove Wanda didn't experience this, I choose to carry on with my life as normal and continue reading posts from people who want to support, not accuse and ridicule others.

Lets all stop arguing about petty little things and focus on getting better jobs and supporting each other.

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE :)

Thank you Mint 25. I'm afraid I'm an horrendous p*ss-taker, and it doesn't always translate as humorous on the Net. You know how it is.

In the light of extreme trolling from Git_face, or whoever it was, I'm now expecting to be asked at interview 'can you give us an example of how, when you were in Afghanistan, you provided excellent customer service by rescuing three journalists and a squirrel who had strayed into the path of an oncoming robot (which was disguised as a Taliban elephant). Please also state how you mismanaged the MoD budget to accommodate your stratagem'.

That one might be a bit tricky, though my holiday in Magalluf had its moments.

    Hi Walter Wall

I hope you get a job. You have a sense of humour. This post genuinely made me laugh. Best wishes and good luck in everything you do.

To be fair once I was in the interview room all the information I gathered from this forum was useless.

I don't think anyone was direct or really wanted to help anyone.

Some of my questions were sub heading questions and a couple were very SPECIFIC (bullet point) questions in my interview.

When I asked them if I should answer the question only or expand on the competency to get more boxes ticked they told me to answer the specific question only and prompted me if I didnt answer the question or forgot to mention the outcome.
