Just back from interview- it was pretty long , got really nervous and mind went blank, lots of question they asked me about my work... That I responded well... Question were about competencies all of 5 - - hth.
The markings will be communicated after all interview done by next Friday. Still shaking , i need a large glass of beer....:beer: the interview lasted for 45 minutes by the way.

Enjoy the beer livilove, sounds like you deserve it. Well done :) Keeping my fingers crossed for you and everyone else who got through to interview.

I had a 'normal' interview this morning - you know the old fashioned type where they find out about your experience, capabilities, see if you can do the job and get on with people you'll be working with... I was nervous enough about that and really feel for you guys on this competency 'exam'.

    Fingers crossed all xx

I signed on Tuesday after my interview Monday and my advisor said at least any other interviews that come up will be nothing like theirs. I've applied for another job at the Post Office, and it asked for a similar competence application. I nearly died on the spot, I can't take this anymore! Good luck to all, we're doing well!

    Hey all,

Can someone pm me the recruitment helpline? Got a quick question regarding my interview on Sat.

    Thanks!

Just been told by the Recruitment "Help"-line that interviews for north london will be starting on 10th March. Hopefully this means we'll be informed if we're successful in being granted an interview before that. What they said was that we'd probably hear by the weekend.

It was also amusing to have them say that people are so impatient, afterall it's only 5 weeks since the closing date, and most companies don't even bother to send rejections. In effect - be grateful we're even recruiting!

    Hi all,

This forum has been so useful.

I was wondering if anyone disputing there competencies scores, have heard anything back?

And does anyone know when the AO vacancies are out?

    Many Thanks

    RE: AO posts
According to post #3063 they are currently being advertised internally to surplus staff, but my understanding is if any are not filled they would be trawled across civil service and after that go to external recruitment. But I could be wrong......

This process has given me high blood pressure- waiting and sifting- it seems like a true ' survival of fittest' world where predator lion chases the deer, gets him tired and then attacks and eats him- waiting game is going on- some have still not heared about competencies ,some have got interview score up- wish you all the best.... Am going to have second glass of beer now.....

Sounds like a long day livilove! :D Well done, you have done your best it's out of your hands now so relax... Good luck !

Private companies pay taxes... Dwp is run by tax payers money for public... So they are responsible how they treat public...
