Will have a look at the interview guidance.
Any more advice is very much appreciated
Oh one extra question. On the email it asks for you to bring along a passport sized photo. However on the you and your interview document it only asks you to bring a passport sized photo if you do not have a passport. As I am taking a valid passport do I still need to get a passport sized photo?
Yes you need to take both - passport for your crb and the photo for them to keep on filex

People! My interview feedback has just arrived.....
6 5 4 6 7!!!
And the 7 was for the one I was questioned on! It seems that despite my nerves I explained them fully enough to be considered worthy. I'm a bit excited but as I understand it this means I will just be placed on a merit list and this is just yet another waiting game? I'm shaking like a leaf typing this!
Wow that was quick, well done you!0 -
My husband was supposed to be having an interview tomorrow, but received a phone call today at 12:15 to say they had made a mistake and were going to have to cancel. My husband asked why? He was told that he should only have been invited for an interview in his home area as he had applied for more than one area. He was not amused :mad:
We both have an interview on Tuesday for Nottinghamshire and were hoping to use his interview tomorrow as a dummy run...but not to be.0 -

This has been known for quite some time, and have to say it's a good idea IMHO, why should some people get a dry run and know exactly what to expect when others won't have the same chance?0 -

Not only that but its taking up a valuable interview slot for someone who might not get one otherwise....:)0 -
Just to have some feedback would be nice. Still waiting0

I came to know someone who is in the 50% percentile been invited for interview and some who have had over 70% been rejected. These are all internal applicants. Do anyone know if there is a difference in interview selection between internal and external candidates? I presume competencies are looked at for internal candidates. Not sure though.0

There are two lists for people who score the minimum 4 in each criteria.
Merit List = top candidates
Waiting List = people who met the minimum required.
You scored 28 out of a possible 45 (assuming they are only grading on the competencies).0 -

:T Well done, I empathised with your description of nerves yesterday, the same thing happens to me with an added goldfish impression when my mind goes blank.
Do you have any idea of the number of vacancies in your area? There are two lists for people who score the minimum 4 in each criteria.

drwho, do you work for DWP? I asked today if there were any vacancies at my local JCP and the advisor did not know.
What happens if you take a job at a JCP more than 1 hour away, can you apply for a transfer or do you have to go through this recruitment process again?0
