And the 7 was for the one I was questioned on! It seems that despite my nerves I explained them fully enough to be considered worthy. I'm a bit excited but as I understand it this means I will just be placed on a merit list and this is just yet another waiting game? I'm shaking like a leaf typing this!

Called up the recruitment line to inquire about North London and London generally, the bloke I spoke to didn't know much though and used the phrase "it's a waiting game" about 3 times...he indicated interviews would be likely to start in the second week of March and that it would be my home district which would decided on whether I get an interview (although he sounded like he was playing a guessing game so who knows).

If I get to interview, I was hoping that I could improve my competency scores because a couple of them complained about lack of detail. Obviously you can put in more detail when you're not restricted to 200 words.

I should think you're in with a good chance with those scores.

Hi So well done on your Interview scores and congratulations, I too had an interview on Monday but I was told it would be end of March beginning of April before I would find out if I am to be one of the lucky ones!....bit nervous as really would love this job. Do you know if this is an actual offer of a position or are you now on another list?

Given that they've got interviews planned w/c 12th, I very much HOPE he meant this week.

It is just competency scores. I have no idea whether it will be like the old recruitment campaigns where you are placed on a merit list and wait months for a position, or whether they will actually recruit people for what was supposed to be a start date in April. Going by this thread I think that may mean April 2013, because it isn't going to happen this year. I'm just pleased to have passed an interview. My confidence took a huge knock last year following a trauma, so this is a personal achievement for me. What happens now happens.
