Thanks for that Shiraz, it saves me calling myself.

I was marked by one district, and have had two others say 'see North Scotland', but North Scotland itself is just 'on hold' with no competency marks, as it has been for three weeks now.

Still, if they are planning to interview from the week after next, we should be hearing from them in the next 4 or 5 days.:rotfl:

I've got friends who have also been scored, I think what he meant was they hadn't decided what scores would make it to interview for this area yet. He didn't say where the interviews would be, but I'm assuming they'll be held in more than one city/town? north of Scotland is a pretty large area.

I'm hoping they look at my comps and score them properly/fairly

I'm told something different every time I call so, who know?!?

ETA: when I called the other day they told me that they won't be sending out rejection e-mails for this area yet in case they don't get enough quality candidates through interview, saves them rejecting you and then having to get in touch later and ask if you're still interested.

hi guys,

extremley :mad: off just after waiting over a month got a rejection email.

i dont agree with the scores or feed back i was given person couldnt even spell the word desription right..... gggggrrrrrr

i am an external candidate doe anyone have details on how to complain or the email address for the extrenal folk wishing to complain????

any help much needed.

Thanks SHIRAZ, my rubbish scores are for North of Scotland so that's useful information (I can't be bothered ringing them myself as I feel I may get annoyed at the poor person on the end of the phone given the appalling shambles this whole thiong has been).

Hopefully we'll hear something soon, I feel like I've been permenantly stuck to my laptop, checking for any change or news.

There's no way these posts are going to be filled for the dates they were hoping, April sometime wasn't it?
They still have the interviews to do and if that's the week after next we're talking WC 12th of March, probably a week of interviews, then the decision on who to offer to, then the time it takes for everyone to accept/decline, CRB checks to be done and a training period to go through, no way these will be starting in April!!!
Not to mention people who have to work their notice at present employers.

Log into your civil service jobs account, click on 'Review Applications' then click on 'Feedback'.

The competency scores should be there, but no guarantees that they will be!

I'm still following this thread daily, its great how everyone's helping each other.

Could i ask something about the interview? A couple have mentionned they were allowed to elaborate on the Competencies from the application ...but is it likely they bring up the "other one"?

In the application we wrote 5 answers but there was a 6th Competency (Analaysing, Improving & Changing).

I've not prepared anything for that one yet. I wondered if it would likely come up? Will they question all 6?

Hi, from the posts I have read earlier, it appears that only the 5 competencies mentioned in the application form will be tested at the interview. Just make sure you expand them and have a couple of examples in reserve - just in case. Good luck!

Cheers!!! I've not had an interview in 4 years!!! (I've not worked for 2 years after having a really bad accident), so to say I'm nervous (and desparate:D) is an understatement!!
