I have to show you just how different my sift scores are in these 2 regions - apologies for the size of the message:
Guess i'm out of the running for the Black country then!!!
Well done in Brum, but I think a complaint about the discrepancy in marks is something you should consider because the comments you've received make it look like they were reviewing two completely different answers. In fact, I wonder if the Black Country reviewers have got yours mixed up with someone else!0 -

Mine for South Yorkshire have been up since Sunday so they are definately looking at them.0 -
I said this earlier that the Black Country areas ranked 351st out of 354 local authorities in terms of deprivation (health, education, barriers to services) so you would think they are less stricter but it looks although this region is immensely competitive0

Red.. I think , take whatever place, job they offer you. You r lucky to go throug at least one of your pplication.
I applied to three district, same marks for the test and feedback carried over. The first application is the one they have sifted and considered the main one.
I hope that black country was not your first application, even if it was, it's their fault to have sent u 2 links... Stick to whatever takes u through...n good luck for the interview.
The recruitment person said, there is no definite fail securing score of under 4. As they still have not decided the criteria, it all depends how many got through against the required seats. It could be anything. All r speculations ..... Lets wait n see....
I applied to Black Country first but Birmingham sift marks came through first.
Even if I want to use the feedback comments constructively for future competency based applications [not necessarily for DWP] I'm now not sure which comments to take note of! lol :undecided0 -

I have worked for DWP before [in B'ham region] and have NEVER EVER been able to get through an application for promotion/transfer opportunity for Black Country!

Have you had your sift feedback for the Black Country yet. I haven't had any feedback for any area Inc Brum but it seams a lot of people have. Did u apply anywhere else. If so any news0 -

I think I might complain.... but wait until I know whether I get through to interview stage first :question:0 -

Makes sense - I'd certainly wait until you get offered an interview - but it is worth printing off those two sets of scores as well as your applications showing you used the same competencies for both applications as the level of discrepency between those scores is too large to be acceptable by any organisation.0
