If you are a driver, then stick to driving. PR isn't your thing.0 -
Well we placed an order for 21 packages last Tuesday. As of today 1 package has been delivered and Paypound is not answering any messages on their ticketing system. They post no phone number on their site.
So I've instucted my shipper to start resending stuff, so that's a few hundred pounds of stock I'll have to eat. The thing is, I know some will probably get through but I can't wait on maybes.
To the driver above, I realize you're just trying to make a living, but they were clearly not ready to go live. And I'm in IT, so I know that project are always late, sometimes by a factor of 10. So there's that.
But even worse, you guys don't have enough drivers to cover the UK? So isn't that kinda fraudulent?0 -
So the service is called Paypound and they claim they will deliver my parcel for £1...
But the minimum invoice I'll end up paying is £20... plus VAT... and I have to pay to open an account?
Has RyanAir diversified into parcel delivery?
You don't have to pay to open a 'PAYG' account.
To be fair, it does seem to be a service targetting business customers who will likely be VAT registered and able to meet to min.20 parcels threshold.0 -

How is that fraudulent?
They will simply overwork current staff (for little pay).0 -
The opinions are clearly that of his own. The poster is not here acting on behalf of paypoundexpress,0

Fraud is an intentional deception made for gain.
Did the driver above not say they don't have enough staff to cover the UK yet their web site, in quite some detail, says they do.
If that's not fraud, it's certainly deceptive practices. Practices that have cost my business hundreds of pounds in product and goodwill.0 -
I actually don't understand why anyone would use a new unknown service for sending 'real' deliveries before testing it first?! It would only cost £24 to do a test delivery - perhaps send a free gift to 20 of your best customers in return for some feedback on the deliveries (if any!). At least that way you would know if they are worth using for real.0

im not one of the owners i dont have anything to prove that but trust me im not, as for my grammar and spelling i didnt reaslise i was sitting my english exams again im just trying to explain why the service isnt 100% yet. you are all entitled to your opinions and im not trying to stop that. i need this to take off just as much if not more than you because it is my living too!!! we are hoping to make the majority of our income from collections, some companies we have on board are wanting to send 1000+ a week but, understandably, are holding back. when its all sorted and running smoothly one of those companies will provide a massive boost to wages in one hit. someone asked about the type of volume needed, i cant answer that accurately as i dont know how many employees we have etc... but for the company to make a good profit and the drivers a good wage we are talking a hell of a lot. at the start of my last post i suggested a lot of negatives, i was just trying to be honest and not trying to slag paypound off. i realise businesses cant take the chance of packages not getting to their destination, it will all come good in time (i hope as much as you do)0

sorry expostie didnt read you thread properly, i would need 100 deliveries and probablt 200 collections for a good wage, the collections are hopefully going to be 20+ at a time so should be attainable and when i worked at yodel i was delivering 130-140 a day and was back at depot for 4pm so it is a model that could work and given time it will0
