    Thanks Megela

Have been struggling to keep up with reading the other diaries and then run out of time to write to my own.
Work has been a bit of a nightmare the last couple of weeks and I'm so glad I only work part time. Not sure how to resolve the issues so finding it stressful. Luckily I have a gorgeous family to come home to which makes it a bit easier to cope with. I was thinking of requesting an increase in hours but really don't want to be there anymore than I already am. Head back in the sand about OH probably getting made redundant in the new year and having to live on my part time salary :(

On a happier note Christmas present shopping all done except secret santa so can start to enjoy the festivities. Off to see Santa with little ones on Saturday and seeing one of their favourite TV characters at the local light switch on this Sunday.

Bought some more clothes as part of Tesco exchange today, mainly for little ones but OH can give me for Christmas the slippers I got for myself. Managed to get a bargain on Amazon's lightning deals on something I regularly buy so an extra £5 to OP in December :)

Weather is just horrible here but still went to the Christmas Fayre so the little ones could see Santa. In my mind I always imagined that they would be excited but the reality was somewhat different with one hiding and one just crying. Oh well there's always next year.

Got quite a few items finishing on ebay this weekend, number of watchers but no bids yet. It's free listing again though so will be able to put stuff that doesn't sell straight back on.

Not planning on going out again today so will enjoy being inside in the warm :)

    End of November update

    Mortgage Overpayment £265 paid :)

Ebay £26.49 profit target was £10

    Reviewing £20 target was £20

Grocery £20.26 under £300 target (Wow, didn't expect to meet this! Have picked up a few things we regularly use cheaper at £ shops and also made use of Mr T voucher exchange on groceries :j )

    December Targets

    Mortgage overpayment £267 (£200 regular OP, £3 Surveys, £20 reviewing, £10 HR a/c, £8 TCB & £26 ebay)

Groceries £320 (Extra £20 for Christmas)

Ebay £5 Just relisting unsold bits and pieces I think, will avoid the post office queues as much as I can and things seemed to sell really well in January last year.

Reviewing £20 Nearly at this but will have less time to spend on this as got all the Christmas presents to wrap

Surveys £20 (OH and I will hopefully reach payouts)

Look at paying phone line rental up front so could have a monthly saving from that.

Well a great start to December OH had far more luck with phone/TV provider than he did last time he called which just shows it's always worth trying again. We've paid the line rental up front for a year saving £46.80 which will actually be more as prices go up in Feb 2013. Also got a reduction on our broadband so more speed (hopefully) for £10 less a month :T Think this officially puts OH on board :D

Ebay bids looking better than I thought and profit is already showing at £5.81 on my lovely ebay spreadsheet if they pay up!

Redeemed next £20 Amazon voucher on dooyoo :j

Have also been busy entering barcodes onto Music Magpie as hope to sell a pile to them before Christmas. Should bring in another £4 and clear a bit more space.

Exhausted from all the money saving excitement this weekend so night all :)

£270 OP made and I'm looking forward to starting the 3 year challenge to reduce my mortgage by £30,900. Seems so much but no harm in trying and if we make it wow!

Doing quite well towards extra January OP and have listed a couple of local collects on Ebay which would be a nice bonus if they sell.

Love the couple of weeks before Christmas, getting there with the wrapping and watching all the Christmas movies :xmassmile

    Happy Halloween!!

    Hey :)

Lurker reading your diary here. I tried to use the SP link, but it keep telling me URL not found?

Well done on your OPs :T

Both my local collects sold, 1st one paid and collected and 2nd one due to go tomorrow. Just over £100 profit so really pleased and will be able to put a fair bit of it in the Jan OP pot :)
Finally all ready for Christmas and enjoying the last week of build up, OH has finished work until the New Year and I finish Thursday so we're really lucky to be able to enjoy lots of family time. Christmas party for little ones tomorrow, they have a special guest visiting so I'm hoping there won't be tears!
