Tetley Decaff 180 box on offer for £3.00 at Morrisons at the moment, which I think is a decent buy, bought some yesterday. Keep us going for a while.0

My victory tea arrived today, I bought the sample box. The tea is lovely i have to admit, but if I buy 640 box at £15.00, I just popped on to asda and taking tetley as a brand I drink i can get 720 ( three 240 boxes) for £15.75, when not on offer, which gives me 80 extra bags for 75p. Yorkshire tea 240 boxes are on roll back at £4.00 per box, even cheaper.
I suppose you just have to decide which one you really like, otherwise as with everything else you could spend hours, faffing about with each product you try and save on, friving yourself to insanity!!!0 -
Just back from Tesco. PGtips 160s are on offer (£3.00), Yorkshire Tea 160s on offer (£3.00), and Twinings everyday 80s are £2.89 Bogof - so 160 is £2.89.
HTHI try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
All through my childhood my mother only ever bought Sainsbury's Red Label tea/teabags but now she's on her own she buys Marks and Spencer. I live near a Co-op now and I buy the Co-op 99 tea my grandmother used to give us
PG Tips would be a second choice for me.

I only drink PG tips and I do drink a lot of tea, albeit not very strong tea. Anyway this thread has inspired to go buy and try the Sainsury basic tbags tonight. Here's hoping I like them, just think of all the pennies (well pounds) I will save.0

Morrisons have Typhoo tea bags 80 pack at £1.04 - I always think it's good value if 80 is around £1. Although I don't like and won't buy the Typhoo 100's that are in Poundland/Home Bargains - to me they're like the floor sweepings - ugghh! IMO Typhoo are slightly weaker than PG/Yorkshire but I just let them brew a little longer in the pot. I also think that Co-op 99 tea is pretty good quality (similar to Typhoo).0
