If one likes the taste of PG tips, but not the price, buying loose leaf is cheaper, Asda have got 250g for £1.70.

with loose tea you can make it as strong as you like, it's meant to be brewed for at least a couple of minutes.
The problem with bagged tea is that it contains a lot of very fine tea that is meant to be brewed much more quickly, hence using more tea.
Using smaller quantities of loose tea brewed for longer, is a better option than re-use your tea bags, in my opinion.
Asda Chosen by you is only £1.20 for 250gr. Even better.

You don't need any special equipment, you cold just use a strainer, or a cheap ball infuser, or if you want to use in a teapot as well:

Yup! I agree with joan1, Sainsburys Basics tea is brill, at 35p for 80 you couldn't get better value. I alway have at least two boxes in the cupboard.0
