I agree, Twinings is the best.
You mean Twinings everyday tea? Not a patch on the market leader ie Yorkshire Tea
  • I have always drunk Lipton tea, used to bring back from holiday in bulk but then found an ASDA selling it about 10 miles away but got fed up of commute just for them! A friend has now converted me to the Twinings everyday - Sainsburys doing 80 bags for £2. Still not cheap but make a very nice cup of tea :)

If I'm really skint then Tesco's red label, but would rather do without, than not have my favourite Clipper organic fairtrade tea.

Nothing beats it, so often abstain if I can't get any.

I am not sure why I am in this thread as I don't drink tea but I spotted this on Amazon

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/PG-Tips-Cup-Catering-Teabags/dp/B000I6LWHG/ref=sr_1_3?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1334143398&sr=1-3

Looking at some of the prices quoted in this thread, if you subscribe and save you can get 460 PG Tips for £7.83 and free delivery.

(for anyone not used to subscribe and save, you can just cancel it as soon as your item has been despatched)

Yeah, good find! Amazon's offer (1.1p/tea bag) on subscribe and save is just slightly cheaper than Tesco's current offer (1.12p/tea bag). Don't forget to cancel your subscription though once the tea arrives if you decide to go for this one.

We used PG for a long time, but have now switched to Asda's own as they are much cheaper and we really like them! £3 for a box of 240 is very good.

Don't like Tetley as we find them too weak!

In an effort to be healthier. I've given up artificial sweeteners and Co-op 99 teabags now taste foul. :(

I wasn't intending to go all hippie-like but I'm finding that without sugar or sweeteners tea needs to have a LOT of flavour to be palatable so at the moment enjoying Lord Nelson Earl Grey and Lord Nelson peppermint from Lidl plus Palanquin cardamom and Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea from Spices of India.
