I can confirm this. I've just bought some. Poundstretchers have the same, but at £2.79.
However, Nescafe International Roast (their catering range, and quite acceptable) 200g instant coffee is £2.59 in Poundstretcher, but £2.89 in Wilkinsons.
Yes, I know. I even compare prices at this level! The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Well I tried the Sainsburys basics after all the great reviews on here, I had tried them a long time ago and didn't like them, but they are fine now. OH had gone off Sainsburys red label but has not complained at all about basics. They are good teabags, thank you all.
I also like basics ground coffee.0 -
Has anyone else tried the Asda own label teabags in the red boxes/bags? It's just they're on offer at the moment so you get a bag of 1100 teabags for £9...just don't want to be stuck with that many teabags if they don't make a good cuppa! thanks for any info

Yep tried them, first cup was ok, tasted a bit like PGtips, made a 2nd cup later on that day, dont know what i did different but it was awful, luckily i'd only bought the small pack think it had 40 or 80bags in it. Didnt make a 3rd cup, ended up given them to a friend, her husband drinks a load of tea and i dont think he cares what type it is, his a builder.0 -
