I am struggling to finish the last few Asda's value teabags. They just don't hit the spot I am afraid and I sincerely hope to have finished them by my next shop and I would even pay full price to get a good cup of tea now!

PG Tips Tea Bags 160 tea bags 2 for £5 (normally £4.25 each) at ASDA. Should work out about 1.5p/tea bag. Think this offer is on till the end of this month as well.

Also, keep an eye out at Iceland if you have one near you as they appear to have fairly good offers on now and again as well. They were selling Yorkshire Tea 160 bags a few weeks ago for £2.25. I bought my last lot of PG from there as well, think it was a similar offer.

Noticed in Farm foods the other day that the PG Tips Pyramid Tea Bags 160 + 50% free (so 240) are only £4 and they are still £4.25 at Iceland too.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I've just double checked Tesco's website through the link I've posted above and the offer appears to be still on there. I've had similar experience to you though made sure the shop assistance scan the items that were meant to be on offer. From time to time they may not be aware of an offer that's currently on but mostly after they scan the items they come back and tell you the offer price. Try asking and see what the outcome is.

    Good luck!

had to go into cosham today to hendy ford, they had some in tescos extra the big one near landrover.
however they are not on the shelf, they are on the end of the isle, hidden.
find the tea isle, and then go to the next end of isle, should be on the floor hidden. i bought 3 packs, they had about 20packs left when i got mine.
And they accepted the £1 off i got from unilever aswell.
