  • I second the Victory Tea recommendation! It's about half the price of Yorkshire Gold when you buy in bulk and it is fantastic! IDEAL if you drink that many cups per day.

I use Tetleys when I can't find Yorkshire tea on offer. I don't add mild or sugar so it's important that the actual tea tastes good to me.

I would never have considered trying a basic teabag....but with all these great reviews of the sainsburys basics - I'm going to give them a go :D

  • Another vote for Sainsburys basics. Not only are they very nice and very cheap, they are also fair trade.

Getting back to the original op question. I think i saw an offer in Iceland about Xmas time of 50% extra free. Don't know how many tea bags but box was big.

I get my teabags from Amazon using their subscribe and save service, at the moment its set to send me a new bag of 460 PG tips at the end of the month for just less than £8.

  • Also a Sainsburys basics fan and they are fairtrade too. If you're a strong tea drink just leave it for a couple of mins or put two in. I don't like PG tips though; I'm a Twinings fan and think they are comparable!
