I have submitted my first article to textb's so we shall see what they make of it. I actually really enjoy writing although it's bringing back images from school that I don't want lol. I have forgotten all the pronoun schmo-noun malarky :) Best remember it as they seem quite specific on their requests.

Financially I haven't checked yet so will do that and get some work done. It's Friday :)

I am so tired now lunch has passed, I'm waiting to go home already and I have 2.5 hours left although I have a mtg in between that.

I've signed up to dooyoo, justtheanswers (or something like that) and texbroker (who have first article so awaiting it being "marked". I'm hoping to supplement my payments with anything I can earn here or put it to xmas presents where I have vouchers.

  • Morning world!

I had a lovely weekend, packed loads into it so felt like we actually had one! Although I got next to nothing done in the house.

Week ahead is so so busy, the busy period is coming.

I'm hoping to get all xmas presents except for my DH this month and next. Then will get his with Nov's pay. I'd love to be able to spend December enjoying the build up and anticipation and concentrating on having lovely food available for ppl who drop in and family instead of worrying I have no money for presents that I haven't got!

Finances are looking ok but tight. I have enough food in for this week except for milk. Soon enough it'll be back to comfort food which I find easier and cheaper to make. We don't like stews and pies in the hotter weather. I must get back into cooking again after a "summer" off.

Went riding last night for my 2nd public lesson and LOVED it. It's such a boost for me and gives me something I thoroughly love to do whilst working full time and attacking the debt, not to mention being a mother and wife.

The horse I rode was a cob, faily heavy breed looking, about 15h mare and only 5 years old. She was adorable, she was more like a dog's character, constantly wanting a cuddle when stood still and sniffing my boots whilst I was on her at halt. She took me over some higher jumps than I've done before with ease and she was a real beauty. Really pleased with her and my performance.

This has given me more determination to pay my debt off because the sooner I pay it off the sooner I can get myself and my daughter a horse (to share initially) and start living the good life. Oh I SO look forward to that day. Can see it now, husband doing the farmer role, diy jobs, fixing the barns with my son in tow, DD and I riding in the paddock with the other animals watching us in amusement and the veggies growing strongly in the field providing us with year round supply...... Oh to dream :)

So in order to do this I better talk finances! As stated this month is tight and I am already looking forward to pay day at the end of the month. Plan for the next 2 pays is to finish xmas shopping for all but husband as I have no idea what I will get him. Also it is his birthday in Nov so I need to think what I can get him for that too. He never wants anything.

My last payment on the loan that gets wiped is Nov so Dec's pay that would have gone to this is my emergency store for last minute things. Anything I don't spend will go to the debt. Sad but I am thinking of it as my last xmas in debt. That is a lovely thought for me.

I have been saving my Tesco vouchers for xmas, they send them in Nov I think so I was going to use it just for Christmas food (I do the lunch) - what do you think? That would mean I wouldn't need to use Dec's budget for grocerys from pay so would have 175 extra cash that month. Or should I use their double up service? Maybe I could get some gifts with them instead.

I am still working on keeping the bills down and fighting with the gas and electric but can't do anything there for another few months. I don't get my hair done in salon any more and cancelled the milk.....hmmm, need to make money and reduce outgoings - de ja vu.

I have a seriously sore throat, bunged up nose and general feeling of sh1tt1ness today. Joy! Pain relief tablets it is.

Need to check my accounts but it's that time of the month that goes slow before the even slower bit at the end lol.

I sold a toy last night and made £10 yey!

  • Right, first quick possibility - lottery is on for tonight, euro on fri and lotto on sat. I had a £10 win which was sat in my lottery account so am using that.

I have £10 from a sale I made last night so that is in my purse and will save me dipping into the bank.

  • Whooop at you go!!

Whats all these new moneymaking text schemes etc?

I could get my husband to do those...
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Hi Skint

Textbroker are an author/client site. Basically ppl put a request in saying they would like 250 word writing about xx for 5 euros or such like. Diff ratings are worth diff amounts and when you get to 10 euros you can withdraw it. Need all I can lay my hands on!

I am on a mission to see the back of it.
