    Morning world.

Well things are steaming ahead here. My only worry is that things are getting planned for before my DFD and my DFD is proving to be a hard target given the new riding expense.

I've updated my new and improved spreadsheet. I'm pleased with the amount of xmas things I have managed to get already so that's one less thing to do. My DH will give me his side of the money in Nov so that will boost the balance back to where it should be (ie there is one).

I need to focus on everything, reducing every cost I have. Driving the car as little as possible, no more going out on lunch times, heating remains off (although it is colder on a morning now!), use short showers instead of filling the bath, utilise SC and oven appropriately and menu plan like crazy.

I'll ask for cash for xmas to help me in the early months of next year.

Anything I have spare I will ensure I don't fritter away. Also no takeaways! I am off the boose until xmas now anyway.

I will try and write up to 4 textbrokers a week.

ebay - I've sold almost everything anyway!

    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Morning world

The days are getting shorter, well the light is. It is proving difficult on a night at the stables - they are very restrictive on the lights as they cost a fortune to run (I am the same in my house lol) and they are empty by 8. We're still in the process of getting a routine so I know what I did last night needs to be readjusted as we were still there at 810.

We aren't there tonight but are in the morning.

Financially I've not spent anything big that isn't in budget so rather pleased. In fact I haven't spent on anything little either!

My husband's given me some ideas for him for xmas so that's good as normally i really struggle.

Next week I'll be taking DD to get her last thing fitted then leaving it for Santa in she is good.

    Quiet day today

    xx

  • Morning world.

Hope everyone had a great weekend :) We did :D

One problem has arisen tho...I need to get rid of my debt by March. This is not doable in my current situation as I simply will not earn enough to do this!

So now the brain needs to work overtime as I need to do this.

    Wow, exciting!

Would you still definitely not tell him about your debt?

  • Absolutely - can't risk it. I want shot of this, my mess, my problem. Not to mention what damage it would do.

So I am focussing on how exciting it is going to be and not how worrying it could be in case of this and that.

    Good luck DF :)

  • Thanks hun.

I've worked out my meal plans for a rotational basis. Nothing extravagant however ensuring a decent fruit and veg intake.

I also made some fairy cakes whilst the sunday lunch was in the oven so pleased I made good use of the heat. Today I plan on using the left over meat in with some pasta and a packet of sauce. Nice and easy.

    The wind is howling here!
