  • Following the lottery I have managed to save £15 a month by calling V1rg1n and saying I am leaving. Although I am now tied in again to 12 months contract I am saving 15 quid so very pleased! Not bad considering I had no intention of changing anyway!

Right, need # 3 idea now...

  • I have now updated my spreadsheet to reflect idea 2. Should I buy 15 lottery tickets or put 15 to debt :)

  • MY goodness youa re on a roll.

You need to tell me more about all the writing sites. My husband blathers on about nerd stuff and he can manage to string some words together so thats his contribution sorted!

  • Google textbroker and sign up as an author. He will have to write a small sample on something, you get a choice of 3 or 4 topics, none of which may be riveting. Then that is marked and given a rating. You then access the requests that are in. Whatever rating you are is the max you can write for - will make sense when you log in. Thanks to Emzilla and beccie for showing me this site in their diaries.

When you write your article and submit it they mark it and on acceptance pay you the agreed price.

OK so this month I should be paying off £530 to debt and £120 to Xmas. Plus have all my other bills covered, not bad.

Tried to reduce my water as on metre that they estimate but it seems they have estimated correctly so can't change that.

There is a spider on my desk, it is good to share, now hiding under keyboard.

I need to do electricity and gas tonight but not allowed to reduce that as only did it a month ago or so. Council won't let me reduce the council tax :D nor will the TV or car insurance.

    Still thinking.

  • Morning world!

Well this morning has been up and down. My son is poorly but ok :( hate seeing them like that.

At work I have been given an update regarding my job. Although this role may be coming to an end they are in the process of creating me a new one :) As we're moving on with technologies there is a requirement for someone with the skills to manage these technologies, the implementation of them and so on - and they want me to do it. They also want me to manage some of the ppl on the team for a portion of their work (to introduce me to ppl management) so I'm up for that. Looks to start early next year and they are hoping for more money.

Fingers crossed! I may get this debt shifted after all!

I picked up the last batch of xmas presents last night - loving it! Just need to get them stashed before DD see's them, locked in a room at the mo.

    xx
