I want to know why they have insisted on installing one of those stupid boxes you have to talk too to make your order, it makes no sense at all, as you still have to go round the corner and pay the person you were talking to through the magic metal box, grrrr!!!!!

Because when it's busy it's more efficient, you can have one person taking orders, one taking money, one giving out the food.

In fact, in some places in America (dunno if they've started here yet), the people taking the orders are in a remote call centre, and then the order is sent electronically to the staff in store who prepare the order

Oh and as you have just joined to criticize macdonald, be prepared for the posts accusing you of being a plant, bot from a rival company !

The OP has signed up with a valid rant. He obviously needs to travel a bit further and use another Macdonalds where he won't have this problem. Has anyone accused them of being a plant ? No. You're just bitter because no-one agrees with your other post. It's a bit childish really, just because you say something over and over again doesn't make it right.

I'm 5 foot nothing and I weigh less than 8 stone, do I look like I want a large meal? Aaarrrggghhhhh!!!

I found using the "magic box" in America very difficult, it's an accent thing ! I didn't understand theirs and they didn't understand mine !

I go to Macdonalds. I like the Chilli Chicken Wrap.

I ask for a Chilli Chicken Wrap please.

Guess what i get ? Yep, exactly what i ordered ! Now isn't that amazing ?

OP, you should get out more.

That is part of my point though. If I order the wrap, there are no issues at all, as you have found to be the case also.

The issue only surrounds the deli sandwich/deli/sandwich/non-wrap.

As for getting out more, if I'm at McDonalds, is that not deemed to be out? I'm fairly certain I don't live there.

Surprised how seriously everyone is taking things. I only posted to have a little dig at something minor, on a section of a forum entitled "Praise, Vent & Warnings". I had considered this a little, slightly tongue in cheek vent. It isn't something that impacts my day to day life in any significant way and it isn't something I'm going to bother McDonalds corporate with. If you'd prefer not to read about it, I'm sure there are plenty of other things going on around the internet you can expend your time on.
