I don't know, I have to ring tomorrow morning, so could ask then. Although he might get upset if I go away without him (and so might I to be honest).Total debt May 2005 £83,232

Hope he's soon better. My cat does not go out now only in the summer in the backgarden which I'm pleased about, you always worry when they are near to the road. Saying that we had a kitten who got run over and killed on a cul de sac road which was quiet.0

Aww poor puss. My four (Macey, Dotty, Poppy & Manu (see left) send a big get well hug for you all. For those with no pet insurance WHY?!!! My Macey got a boyfriend & he decided to move in (soon follwed by the arrivan of Dotty, poppy & 2 more!!) and stay but because he was a stray I never had insurance...fine until he got a lung tumor, cost well over 1000 before I had to have him put down (because he was in pain not cos I wouldnt pay!). You never think that it will be an issue and that the "saving" is worth it but it isnt honestly! By the mwy M&S insurance is v,good - good bens, payout & service! Look at direct line T&C re renewal when they get something like diabetes...it aint good from what I've heard! (ie they cancel at policy anniversary & you cant get cover elsewhere because its now a prexisisting condition).Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Do you get any discount for having four of them??? I've always been put off at x amount per cat, and just put money away each month to help towards vets fees, but that only covers occasional visits, not if anything major happened.0 -

Hope your kittie is much better soon. Mine came in limping about a month ago and we had a worrying night wondering if he was going to be ok or whether we should take him to the vet.
We couldn't risk taking him just incase it wasn't serious because he isn't insured and I couldn't afford a huge vet bill.
He didn't seem in pain other than when he stood on it. But by next day he was luckily starting to get better. I think he might have fallen or hurt the pad on his foot.
It's sooo scary being a cat owner because they are so independent but that's part of what makes them so lovable...they don't love you because they have to, they love you because they want to
Now I must go hug my kittie cos I'm feeling all smushy

Reggie, Ziggy and Polly send hugs and purrs and hope that Moxie gets better soon......

We built a cat run on the back of our house in 2002, the extra expense was worth it as in March 2001 we lost Timmy on the main road near us.... I found him at the side of the road on a Monday morning, I had been out until quite late the night before trying to find him, I sat up to 2am, still no sign..... Went to bed for a couple of hours, went looking again, that's when I found him.... I was absolutely devasted, he was my baby, he was only 2 1/2 years......
We then got Ziggy and Polly.... None of our cats are insured, I wish they were though, when we had Millie it cost us a fortune when she was diagnosed with a bad heart......
Our dogs are insured though, with Pet Plan, they are not the cheapest insurer, but I am so glad we have it as Magnum (Choc Labrador) was diagnosed with hip dysplacia a couple of months after we took out the insurance, we now claim for his hydrotherapy and in a couple of years he will probably need either one of both hips replaced, which will be covered under the insuranceLight bulb moment 18/03/06 Total Debt at light bulb moment approx £40k
Total Debt now £29,973.82 :j
Snowball date Dec 2010, but hope to clear by June 2010 if not sooner.....
Arrgghhh......!!!
